Your hop rubber shouldn't factor in with your fps. If you get an inferior hop rubber that requires more pressure to achieve the same hop, it will reduce your fps, but also your performance.

More likely, it's possible the modify rubber is just crap, or the 6.01 barrel is just too tight for the ammo you're using.
Anyway most stock GBBR inner barrels are fine, it's just the hop rubber that needs upgrading. People always overestimate the advantage a high quality barrel has over an already good barrel.
Try using the stock barrel with a better hop rubber

The Inner Barrel is 6.03 and the hop up rubber cost me $16 and sold to me as 'the best in the store'..

I reset the npas tonight and opened it up again.. im going to try a few mags tomorrow to see if they are still dropping.. if they are then i'll swap out the rubber with the stock rubber to see if that is the issue.

"best in the store" is like saying your ford fiesta is the greatest car in your driveway
Doesn't mean it's good, just means it's the only thing available

Dropping after 50' and landing around 100' is pretty consistent with a gun that is firing with NO hopup at all, so double check that your hopup is actually working correctly, is dialed up enough, etc.

Edit: You should be able to stare down the barrel and make sure you can easily see the rubber cutting across the top of the bore, and also make sure you haven't gotten silicone oil in there that's making the rubber all slippery.

Yea im not seeing much of a cut in the barrel window.. i think i need to look at nub options as it seems that the stock nub is not big enough. The stock nub is a solid piece though so surprised its not pushing into the bucking enough..

doesn't seem like the hop unit can turn 'on' enough to push it down far enough. There is a rather short range from OFF to ON
