Is that the Stoner SR-16 flash hider you have on the muzzle? It looks like it has the little nick in the bottom of it to me.

Good job by the way... The ACOG makes it look real slick. Much better as opposed to the Canadian tire Crosman Red Dot sight i have on my SR-16.

really? it sits too low right? Bah, maybe one of those mini launchers is the way to go?
Yeah, it sits kinda low. I dunno, some ppl don't mind it, but to me, it just didn't feel "right".
You know you can get the barrel mounted version and just mod the inside of the RIS. You have to grind away the rear screw mounts on the RIS unit but after that is done you can use the upper portion of your RIS and have the 203 mounted directly to the barrel and the thing is solid as heck. I did it late last year or early this year.
Not possible with a commando setup.

The barrel is too short, so the front of the standard M203 has nowhere to mount to.

It may only be possible if a standard M4 outer barrel was chopped down to a 12.5" length.

This is an older style M203, but the mount locations are the same:

I've seen a pic of an Israeli 10.5 inch barrel with the quick detach M203 mount attach to the flash hider. Looks weird but it can be done.

weird indeed. the clamp would need to have material to be removed in order to fit around the larger diameter flash hider.

Would still look weird IMO.
