Blinder are a terrible thing. Jaco was giving you sound advice. However im not sure if someone who is underage can go to small claims. Perhaps talk small claims court over with your parents. Stop being so crazy and flipping at the drop of a hat. Patience is a virtue and as i always say its better to seem an idiot and be silent then open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Yep... pointed out that him being a minor thing... he doesn't get it JacoNB... he thinks that because he had his mommy talk to the guy that its legal. Its not, you HAVE to be 18 to buy ANY airgun in Canada. For as long as I can remember, you have to have your parent go into the store to buy a gun for you, any kind of gun (Save cap guns and squirt guns and the very obvious ones). However, even after asking my dad who said that as long as HE can remember, from some of the very daisy BB guns, it was an 18+ thing to buy. Even though they were for kids and were considered toys, a parent had to buy it. And I got that backed up by my brother who is in the RCMP and admitted to me that he didn't know much about the laws on guns because its not really his end of work, he's more into traffic and domestic response. But he got some of the info verified by the the "gun nut" for his department, and he said that airguns are always 18+ to buy, no matter how dinky, or petty they are. |

Yea, I was gonna order from AA but once the lack of quick responses and bad ordering system i kinda thought it over before making such a fatal mistake. Some petty advice *may or may not help* when u see signs like this on a retailer and you're desprerate to buy from them still go for something like an EBB so at least you dont waste as much of your dough. In my opinion i'd go with the trade/sell/buy forums here on ASC or the SpecArms forums. I've purchased a couple of items also from the AirsoftOttawa sales/buy section of thier forums as well. Just some petty advice :salute:

Craig as a 17 year old youve probably yet to have a wake up call and this is your first one. How do you plan on having this "RCMP applicant" (calling him that cause weve seen no confirmation) life ruined? Your going to complain to the RCMP? whos going to advise you to go to small claims. You going to complain to the local police? Whom MIGHT put together an investigation which as people have told you would probably end with them telling you to go to small claims court. Even if you cant go then get your parent to file the claim for you. Sometimes just recieving the notice could give people a WAKE UP call and he'll pay you.
Yah I would take the $20 money order like a slap in the face too. However trash talking him in the grand hall of ASC acomplishes nothing. He has already been removed from the magical list of ASC's recommended dealers which is about asa much pull as you can get from here. Continuing to trash talk about him here does nothing to further your cause. In Short. Tomorow is Thursday. Small claims opens at 0830 hours.

Do you feel overly self-conscious about your age compared to the rest of us? Do you feel vulnerable around older people? I just don't get this whole persecution complex you have going on here.

Actually in addition to being removed from the list he and his known staff have been unverified. I suppose he could be banned too but then you wouldn't be able to contact him via the site at all.

Lisa may i ask that you give luger his verification back. He did nothing wrong and was the only part of the company that was pressuring cory to get stuff out fast. Ask JacoNB he will vouch for what im saying. Luc(Luger) is a stand up guy and i vouch for him. He always continually emailed cory annoyed that shit wasnt getting done.

I was just about to post to say the same thing. Luc is a stand up guy, he always responded to my emails, and he Cc'd me on all correspondence to Cory. I went through Luc towards the end of the deal, and always got a prompt response. He did everything he could to get me my order, and in fact, I think he's the reason why I got things sorted out with Cory in the end. I *highly* recommend you don't punish Luger. (Luc.)
Thanks. |

No offense (Don't get me wrong, I'd be really pissed bout a waste of $500 too), but you don't spell like a 17 year old. Search "loyar" on the forums.

Just ignore him, he's posted in every thread he can find and every post has been about as intelligent as this one. I wouldn't waste the braincells.
