yes those funky foreends are in use with Police and military mostly the police for traffic stops, they are small enough to use in the car and around the car without being exposed anymore then using a pistol, but now have the firepower to stop suspects from doing anything.. I see pics of this and articles on those makes and styles of rifles in my SWAT mag and Guns and Weapons, some very funky stuff

It's actually more than an SR-25, it's a Mk11 Mod 0! Developped for the US Navy (SEALs I believe) and used by them + other US branches as well as the Israelis.
The SPR is pretty sweet. Of course, just when I'm getting near to completing mine, they come out with this! I'm a bit with Vondnik though - it would be nice to see them build something totally new rather than rehashing TM...
