thats pretty lame. unrelated but worth noteing, i know one time we had a team member buy a piston off 007 even though we were suppose to get team discounts from him, he sold it to him full price, then charged him $30 to ship it regular purolator from clagary to brooks (2 hours away) which should have only cost $7 to ship.

I just have to say this, If a price is too high, or the shipping is unreasonable, don't pay it. You can buy it elsewhere. What you are complaining about in this thread was entirely your own fault, because you KNEW the prices they were charging and you PAID them. You absolutely could have said no, but you CHOSE to go ahead and purchase. Price check before you buy. Failing that, use common sense. |

yeah ive been there, just got fucked on ebay, now im out 600 dollars, and the guy refuses to refund all my money because he says i wasted his time despite the fact he ripped me off. I can live without the money, but his sheer arrogance is enough to ruin my last month. I havent felt such a literal urge to rip a kitten from its warm hide in my whole life.
I will tell everyone about the travesty of Airsfot G.I. theyll be out of business in no time. |

I'm glad I only ever ordered a rail for my G3 from them and nothing more. I didn't have any problems with my order and it arrived within a week of the initial order. Given the experiences posted by others I'll credit it to luck.
Support our local vendors instead to help foster their growth. That way the requirement for purchasing items from over the border will be much less as our local stores will (with time and continued support) have a lot of the various items we need. This (as well as smart shopping) will help reduce incidents in which you get e-screwed. |

As for Airsoft G.I. , sorry to hear that. I ordered a drop leg holster for my mp5k and althought it took a while, I did get it and didn't have trouble with shipping, but i'll watch out for them now. |

I had a similar experience with Lightfighter. They ripped me off for $250. They were more than glad to take my money. Once they had it, they don't answer emails or phone calls. The only answer I got was "we shipped your order". They shipped my order to fucking Alabama!!
I live in Ontario! What shit-for brains can't tell the difference between Ontario, Canada and Alabama, USA? A WARNING - DON'T BUY FROM LIGHTFIGHTER!

I had no problem with my order from them - they were the only ones carrying the deepfire piston I needed but when UPS showed up at my door and wanted an extra $50 for brokerage fees (on top of the shipping) I felt screwed. They sent the bill and I phoned and said I would not pay it since they never asked if I wanted it brokered-they dropped the charges so it worked out in the end. I hate UPS!

Did you pay for it by credit card? I specifically do first time orders with retailers by credit card in order to get that layer of protection. I've had a couple of instances where they tried the bait and switch on shipping and I called VISA and it got sorted out quick-fast and in a hurry.
Online retailers are very succeptable to complaints to credit card companies - they are being watched like hawks and as a result, cc companies will yank their accounts at the drop of a hat. If you need good customer service sometimes the only way to get it is to hold their feet to the fire with their cc agreement. It works wonders. I've had apologetic calls back the same day and reversed charges. There are only a handful of online retailers I trust, some of them being eBay based who do big volume and need a perfect reputation, and ones I've traditionally done business with with good success. I like doing business with locals like MadMax, ASCA, Army Issue, One Shot Tac, etc because they genuinely give a shit. Most everyone else, customer service ends after they get your credit card. |

I'm adding Dave's to the list of retailers that 'give a shit'. They sent me a belt that was too big, and, even though I had agreed on that size over the phone, exchanged it straight away. Included in the package was a $20 bill to cover the cost of my shipping it back to them. Great guys.

I think we need an International Airsoft Watchdog, a site where the good and the bad sellers can be shown as they are. With the money some of these companies make I think they should be expected to provide a lot more in the way of customer service.

I'd be happy if they just provided the product.
