I emailed Magpul about the SPR and the 18.5inch barrel length... Here's the response!

We are aware of this and will make sure we have an 18.5 inch version.

I've got more of a hardon for the Masada than for the SCAR. I like how thy used a Novesk style FH in the illustration in the PDF (wihout the FBP :P), that's sexy.

But my biggest concern with both the SCAR and this (airsoft versions) is whether or not they'll put out proper accessories for it (namely a 40mm grenade launcher).

This thing is everything the XM8 should have been.

The XM8 was a new body on a g36, it didnt bring anything new to the market, the XM8 has a deserved place, as the g36 would have done the same. you made a great point!

And yes this rifle is the mona lisa of carbines, i hope to see this rifle explode onto the scene unlike the MC-R. then again it used caseless ammo, so no reason why it didnt make into functioning model.

Yes this babe is in GRAW 2, has weavers to mount lights, optics and what not. Comes in ACU grey by the looks of it. Check out IGN or pick up a next gen mag now!

^ that hud system on that guys is like a giant bullseye in the dark

The nicest thing about this rifle is how adaptable it is to the current system used by the US. As many issues as the armalites have, this rifle improves on the M16/M4 without being a huge step requiring changing lots of stuff.

id still put my money on the HK416. The US is more likely to buy from one of the biggest arms manufacturer in the world then an accessories company like magpul, then again they were pretty friendly with Crye when they developed Multicam.

For those who don't know guns. The Masada is not in GRAW2, that gun you think is the Masada is the Beretta RX4

http://www.berettausa.com/product/sp..._rifle_rx4.cfm

The Masada was only appeared at shotshow this year, there has been no word of it until now.

Holy shit are you serious? An American gun company is taking Canadian law into consideration PREEMPTIVELY rather than as an afterthought?

I don't care what it costs now. I'll buy one.

If the barrels are replacable, and compatible with AR barrels, wouldn't it stand to reason that the Masada would be legal, since it can be fitted with a 18.5 barrel.
