Thanks for the positive feedback guys. Yeah, the gun is only loosly based on the Noveske Leonidas Project. I just ordred a VOLTR (not quite sure how to sell that) stock for it, but I have an AN/PEQ as my battery case.

Nicely done, Rockafella. I have a VLTOR RIS mount for my Surefire 6P and if that's any indication of quality, their stock should be pretty sound. I was thinking about getting a second set of furniture and spraying it tan along with the RIS covers (God bless G&P and their including of covers with every RIS, I've got 8 now), and these pictures are definitely helping me out with making the decision.
Cheers, Vic. |

yo, where did you get the magazine from? It looks 1:1 scale. As far as I knew only G&G hi-caps were 1:1. This clearly isn't G&G.

Tru, very nice but as i said mine is only "loosely based." I was also kinda going for a more CQB set up.

I decided to change a few things on my original concept, what do you guys think? Do you guys think it looks like a rifle that a PMC Operator would use in the feild?
Before: After: -with a light dusting of brown paint on the body (tyring to make it look like aged steel) and a little on the Tan Parts as well to darken it up a bit. and then added; flip up front sight, CRT stock, and Aimpoint Rubber armor.

Just got my new Bushmaster/Blackwater Lower reciever, had to do a bit of modifiying the holes where the body pins go into did'nt match up perfectly and it seems like the Blackwater logo is a bit smaller too. I'm impressed by the detail of the Busmaster Logo though pretty accurate except for the missing armalite. The balck water logo does'nt look as crisp in the photo (probaly cuz i have a cheap camera) as the actual thing.
Here are some close up photos of the trades.

Dnno if it looks aged, looks to me like it was randomly sprayed with a can of brown paint XD.
I prefered the old body better =( but like noted before if you want it to look aged bust out the steel wool. |

Yeah, I know it did'nt quite turn out like i wanted it. But when I was at the armoury I noticed that the C7's had this brown-ish tint. I was trying to get this effect but it did'nt quite work out. Oh well.
