Yeah it's not impossible. I a perfect world I'd have another complete gas block etc. and swap like the real thing. The extra chamber will be an OK compromise.

I would love an extra whole thing so you just unscrew those 6 screws, switch and play.

Shakal, it's not a chairsofter AEG; I gamed it and will be gaming it next Wednesday. It's an amazing AEG. You're just jaleous but thanks for letting me know about the quick fix; I didn't know that.

I have made my decision based on various reviews (they are still not very consistent, but better than what I have learned earlier), and the most precious and valuable field experience from Cassius. I have just purchased the VFC SCAR.

From now on, I will be heavily dependent on Cassius, Danke, and several other SCAR users for their valuable experience, opinions and suggestions on this gun. Thank you again, Cassius and Danke, for your great inputs and assistance.

I can hardly believe that I have now officially joined SCAR group.

Not really jealous I do find that the Classic Army SCAR is a good AEG and i like it a lot. I dont really mind about the color as i alway paint my gun (even if i buy a systema... it will be painted)

VFC are great guns. The CA just got out first , also have cnc upper, fiber lower and butt plus i got a good deal for mine. 800$ brand new with 3 hicap + one 1100 mah battery. Only thing i had to change after a season of playing is the cylinder head and the tappet plate (wich was a preventive move)

The only thing i might be jealous of, is the 2 barrel you got with your VFC.

Thank you. I am very honored to join the SCAR club now.

Of course, after I saw your SCAR and heard about its performance, I wouldn't trade my SCAR for a PTW either!!!

I might still acquire an armalite PTW in the very long distant future, but I'm sure that I'll never ever give up my SCAR for a PTW.

VFC version comes with metal upper and polymer lower just like the real thing.

I don't know about the Star

Shakal; do you have a pic of your painted SCAR? Does the CA field strip like the VFC, not that it's important, I'm just curious.

Gentlemen, any ideas to help pOKiE out?

There are pictures of the VFC SCAR-H and VFC EGLM floating around the net.

Old codger moment, the SCAR-L feels like a toy to me vs. the 50s/60s stye 7.62mm battle rifles. even though all the FN bumph swears the gas system reaches the places others don't I find myself twitching at the idea of that cartridge mixed with a rifle that hits the scale at the same value as a cell phone.

Here's the link by the way
