Awesome.
That's one sexy gun. As for your battery situation, if you're going with LiPo, I would recommend putting that 3-cell 1200mAH 11.1V LiPo in the stock tube to ensure it's not accidentally damaged while gaming. Yeah, it's a bit more of a pain in the ass to swap (especially in-game), but it will ensure it's not accidentally damaged while you're playing. The gasses in LiPo batteries are very dangerous if inhaled - albeit the likely hood of a BB damaging the battery that much is pretty bloody slim. This is where I plan on storing the battery for my MGS4: M4 Custom project. Food for thought is all. |

Good question.
I have a stock CA SCAR-H and it takes LiPo just fine. TM, on the other hand doesn't use steel bearings (if I recall), and that can make a major difference with the cycle rate you'll get out of a LiPo battery. I am going to install a Trigger Master into my CA SCAR-H to help control the LiPo battery's voltage for my motor, and to get the added benefit of the "Low Battery Warning" that comes with the Trigger Master. LiPo's cannot be completely discharged, so this makes the Trigger Master ideal for it. I really need to get around to installing this thing, I've been in the process of a review for it for a few weeks now. Wife and kid can do that to a guy's plans. |
