I'll take pics as soon as it comes in the mail. There is also a DCU version, a MARPAT version, a british DPM version and Air force ABU version.

Haha. I happen to know some people. Some Rangers, etc. I can hook it up with one if I could get my hands on ARID CADPAT . I won't wear MARPAT. You have no idea being (maybe you do) of being chewed out for wearing MARPAT by a Marine.

Well Foliage Green is actually. They give Foliage green shirts to air crew members of the US Army to wear under there ACU jacket as opposed to the sand colored wicking one. The Army Combat Shirt was originally designed for air crew members only. Since it was meant to be flame resistant. With the high rate of IED's. Since they were using nomex flight suits as the Marines are wearing. They then modified a bit for the basic infantry soldier. The original concept was to keep the material of the center (which is different from the other area's) all over the shirt. When they made the GEN 2 version it had a mesh like shirt mixed in on top and under the center cotton material. The mesh(ish) like torso is what keeps you cool under your OTV/IOTV.

I'm a small guy, 2 of me would fit into an XL. I'm not a big fan of ACUpat either, but I think us weekend warriors not needing to worry about uniforms being uniformed - comfort thumps colours. And these new combat shirts look comfy.
