Yeah, if a round is still in the hopup, it could be a quick way to lose an eye. Legalities aside, should the police see him with it... :|

IDK guys, I'd let my best friend's little bro and his friend play and mabye shoot my gun under very close supervision by me. But I definently wouldn't want him to reach under my bed and play with it when I wasn't around.

Also even if he did find it and get it out, the battery is out of the gun and so is the (unloaded) mag.

Sorry for the threadjack, but it IS related to the MP5 retractable stock; it seems that the guy who sold me my CA MP5 didn't include the little piece of metal that goes on the body before you put the stock on, anyone know where I can get one/ what can be used as a substitute?

take a picture of it. I might have that part as I got my mp5 second hand with the full stock attached but all the other bits were in the box.

I'll chime in with a, Use your head. Don't leave guns out. Period. They should always be safely put away, unless being used, repaired, or just being fondled in privacy. Hahaha

myself, i'd treat them like real guns and store them accordingly, which means *under lock and key*, and out of sight. Since they will be treated as real guns by the police if they do make it out into the street in the hands of some poor witless kid, you should store them like real guns.

protect the witless children from themselves, lock up your guns.
