Whats a MG42 XD?

Nah, I am cool with the old school retro cool of the 34, the Rolls Royce of MG's! that cheese grater barrel sleeve looks cool as hell, and thankfully for German WW2 airsofters the MG34 was used in its infantryman form right up till '45. So any WW2 period German airsofter can use it without being sneered at by experts.

You don't know the MG42 O.o, it's the most feared Machinegun of World war 2. Firing at around 1500 rounds per minute it was nicknamed by Troops as Hitlers Buzzsaw, Bonesaw, Hitlers Zipper.

Thanks Styrak, that was indeed what I meant!

I didn't know some those nicknames though Kingsix, lol!

Man, I have to admit, even though I would prefer a MG42, this MG34 has me excited....

The size and weight is what I love about them!

I am a big guy (vertically and horizontally), so the MG34 is the perfect size for a guy of my stature.

Anyway it always gets the "oooh" factor when you bring a M60 or M240 or any other large support weapons to a skirmish, they are good talking points, the noobs look at them with open eyed wonder and the sheer volume of fire they lay down more than makes up for lugging it over shoulder for half the day!

I am a support gunner by nature anyway, the 2nd AEG I ever bought was a RPK, the 3rd was a TOP M60 and my latest is a VFC BAR.

Roll on the MG34!

I wonder if that MG34 trigger will fire both semi (lower part of trigger) and auto (upper part of trigger)...
