If you can bring in Ehobby stuff with only a slight price boost and reasonable i would definitely be interested,
I find a lot of the time the shipping on an eHobby item can be 50% percent of the cost, especially gear!

A toronto store would be nice. I wouldn't mind paying 10-15% more as long as I know the items will come in faster not 2 weeks+. Its like express shipping and I hate waiting

I am in, and wouldn't mind paying up to 20% extra to get a better customer service and faster delivery.

Poll completed.
I would buy Ebaybanned items, but probably not Ehobby items unless they were the same price or a tiny bit more. My reasons are: first, Ebaybanned is a nightmare to deal with and I will never order from them again. Second, any reasonable markup would be fine with me to avoid the horrible thing they call customer service and actually shipping your items sooner than a few weeks after you buy them. My reason for Ehobby items is that I've had nothing but good experience and good customer service from them, and I've ordered a LOT of shit from them. Their shipping times are also decent (7-10 business days, everytime). |

Looking pretty promising so far, you guys are telling me you tend to do larger orders which is good news. One of the set backs is that I can't compete with the smaller orders since Canada post's minimum cost for shipping any parcel is $8 Canadian. The money saved on combined orders though will help me stay competitive.

I would much rather buy local.
You would definitely have my business, if your service and response will be what you say. |

Let us know when you have things going. I can definitely throw business your way. My friends and I order online a lot, it would be great to get things in country and avoid excessive postage fees.

I think the trick is variety. I omade a 150$ order from ehobbyasia yesterday. Originally, I was on eBay, looking for a 20$ VSR-10 laylax spring.
The search came up with ehobbyasia so I bought the spring from them and then went on to scan the rest of their gear to do one single big order. I ended up buying a gun bag, a tightbore barrel, 1 more spring and some kind of pouch. Because ehobbyasia had variety, I ended up buying more then I was expecting (so what else is new). Good lesson learned. Attract people with some basic stuff and make them spend a lot with a good variety of other gear and parts. |

+1 it'll be hard to match the free shipping tho, canadapost's rates are retarded, didn't we go through this when Paul from EBB said he was going strictly wholesale?

And that's true for a lot of other parts too. I can order a metal slide for a GBB from any Asian source for under $100 including shipping. The same part costs double that in Canada. As much as I like leaving my money here in Canada, when there's such a wide delta in price and no logical reasoning for it (other than we're being fleeced), I have to go abroad.

^ yup, that's why most sellers in the classifieds make it "buyer pays shipping" instead of just posting a shipping price bcuz it varies from place to place
