I didn't see a field fee? Just curious as to what it will be?
Anyone from Vancouver going? Maybe we can book a small charter plane together or something.

It would be cheaper for you to probably fly student standby with one of the major airlines...

One thing I noticed was that Game Control persons will wear urban camo, as I guess thats out as a possibility. I guess that only leaves all-black vs casual/contractor look.

Probably Expect
a "Brown VS Green" camo split..
it makes the teams the most distinctive..

I don't know what charter costs are like, but if you keep an eye on seat sales you should be able to snag flights each way at about $170-180 each. After assorted fees and taxes, it comes out to around $400 round trip. I tend to book one ways, as they don't always have seat sales on both dates you want at the time of booking.

Border Wars III
This will be a mixture of CQB and field combat. As Krusty has said....more will come from your respective CO's.
We'll be at the TTAC 2009 show in February to answer more of your questions. BWIII will take in the lessons we have learned and apply them to a really great event. This will challenge your tactical thinking, stamina and stimulate the mind. Big Red CWO Force Recon |

Yah it's a shame we won't be able to do traditional SWAT loadouts. Although if anyone's interested, a friend and I might be rolling in black SWAT gear overtop of a green flightsuit, and play on the Canadian side. If a few people are interested we could all wear a similar loadout and work together as a team.

So, three days after the announcement and I have 6 members of 6 CBG confirmed to go. We wouldn't miss this trip for anything, we're even organizing a vacation around the event for everyone. We are hoping to get at least 12 out this year, last year was a blast.
