Indeed

I've had critical frame failure on Bolle goggles as well, I don't use em any more.

the lenses stop bbs the frames not so much typically the strap loop gets shot out and then the googles can fall off.

Same is true of many frame supported shooting classes like Wiley's

My Bolle frames broke just last week right in the middle. The lens holds it together!

Just a thought

I know the conversation here is about bolle T-800's (I've got a pair) you can also score revision locusts on ebay for less than $40 new! The U.S. army issues more kit than they know what to do with, I've got two pairs of locusts and spent less than $60! They do fog up when there's no breeze (I haven't tried fog tech yet, AI speaks highly of it though) I wear my bolle's indoors 'cause they have better venting given the design but if you want a great goggle, superb fit and low price look up ebay in the states. These goggles have a wicked protection rating, for the price they're awesome.

well I've used ehobbyasia's replica lenses for a while now (as a replacement for the original one tat ad its coating destroyed) and they stop BBs very well
The fact that they are non coated is actually a plus if you use an anti-fog that will destroy the coat (thus rendering the lens useless after a while
)...and the anti-fog coat on the original lenses never worked for me...

the only criticism I have about those lenses is that the distance frame-lens is bigger than with the original lens.
hey I'm close to necroposting here.

I guess a source was never found? checked out the sites to no avail.

I dont really have faith in replicas either, i'd rather spend the cash on some original replacements lenses.

I have scratches all over my original lenses....wasn't there some miracle spray that got rid of scratches at one point? :P

Is there anyway to buff them out?

...and you won't find BOLLE T-800s anywhere except the occasional pair in an obscure clearance bin on line. Bolle officially discontinued manufacturing and supporting the T-800 line early last year, and so they are now an endangered species. Hoard the ones you have.....

As above, replacements lenses have not been manufactured in over a year and stock piles have been all but depleted. Our only option is to purchase and use "clone" lenses, which BTW are just as good for airsoft as the real deal. They use the same type of lexan in the same thickness.
I know it sucks that they don't have the BOLLE print in the bottem left corner of the lens, but it has become our only choice for replacing scratched/damaged lenses.

As Sha Do stated, the reason that you can't find real Bolle X800 series replacement lenses is that Bolle has not made that goggle and lens for some time. The current lineup includes the X900 and X1000--and the X1000 is the replacement for the X800. If you have purchased an X800 or T800 series replacement lens then Bushnell says it's probably not a Bolle lens.

I have a pair of X800's that I bought a long time ago from the Bushnell outlet in Overland Park, KS, USA, and recently sent them in for repair, but they were unable to repair or exchange the lens and had to offer the X1000 as a replacement (but they did give me a "trade in" discount.)

You can contact Bushnell (the manufacturer of Bolle optics) directly in Canada if you have any questions about the new models.

Anyways, I have been dealing with Botach for many years with no issues (other than they will not take credit cards issued outside of the US or debit and such....you must pay via money order in US funds).

However, be advised that my last two orders were placed in early April for various items not affected by the ITAR list, and I just received half of each order two days ago. It took them almost 5 weeks to get back to me on the international shipping costs and such so I could send payment.
Then they advised me that they back ordered 40% of my order AFTER they received my money (sent by registered mail). And there has been no update as to when I will be receiving the remaining items (they'll let me know.....).
Communications with them is hit and miss, depending on who is handling your order (international orders have additional step for payment, shipping, and so forth). Diego is very good, but Shannon and the other lady that work there are out of the loop in terms of maintaining customer relations.

I have been waiting to see how this situation get resolved before I do a review on them.

Err... scratch that. They want just as much for shipping than the actual STUFF.

"Your order total is $60.80 Shipping cost is $30.00 via latest USPS priority International rates. Please be advised there is a $25.00 transfer fee added to your total by your bank"

Botach has some great deals. Your stuff actually arriving is an entirely different matter altogether.
