Also, just because you put a wood kit on doesn't make your AK an RPK. You also need a longer barrel, bipod, and usually a drum mag.
thanks for warning me about that

also I just want the stock, because I like the stock. I cannot afford to make it an RPK, but I may get the drum mag. I wish I could afford a longer barrel though

Yes it will.

You seem to be very new to the sport, I suggest you get age verified so you'll have access to the classifieds here (lots of parts and guns) and do some searches in the upgrades section on RPK projects and other AK mods.

Also read as many reviews of airsoft AK's as you can, and visit mechbox.com to start to get the basics.

You can also buy the RPK would kits here:

Wee bit more expensive than from HK (I get them from the USA), but they are a beautiful kit. I also deal with the shipping and brokerage of bringing them into the country :P

if you buy from Airsoft GI , in the comments / notes during payment, tell them to value the item box total of 10$ USD , or else, they will do on purpose to value it 21$ USD and your screwed, UPS will have you to pay 20-40$ CAD taxes because they say the item is more than 20$ CAD after conversion and blaaalblalblblalalba

I've been looking for a few good sites for an outer barrel for the RPK without any luck. Any suggestions? I'm sure the rest of the parts are easier to find.
