Actually, it's based on a prototype Magpul real world gun, so yes, it is prohibited.

If you notice that the original implementation of the Canadian Firearms Act was different criteria than how it's being implemented now. Under the definitions of the act, how is an AR-15 a restricted rifle? ITAR also bans the sale of Plasma Weapons; every country has crazy laws.

The G11 was banned because, well, there's stories there, and unfortunately, Edmonton played a very poor representation for logic and sense in that whole fiasco for every variation of the stories.

Have you ever seen any firing of the Magpul FMP9? Don't quote Ares FMG, PP-90 (or the Goblin), or the UC-M21 which have all been Youtubed as firing an Magpul FMP9.

It's based on a concept weapon, not a prototype weapon. I'm aware of the development cycle of this weapon. However, especially for Magpul, everything is vapourware until it hits the streets, I have drank the coolaid, but I'm still a realist.

In the real world where guns fire lead and people die: It's the Magpul FMG9.

In fantasy land where copyright rules and Chinese mass production are king: It's the Magpul FPG9.

EDIT: Wow, I didn't even read this page. Google FMG9: Real steel. Google FPG9: this thread is the first hit, and the following hits are other airsoft sites.

EDIT 2: Particle Beam weapons (the class under which plasma weapons fall) are real, and it's not unrealistic to ban them. :|

Production is going to be FPG, can't find a non-airsoft quote that's saying they were trying to tone down the 'machine gun' idea of this system, so I have no idea if it's just someone's guess, or is something that was said.

And here is what Magpul calls it...

US is very sensitive to the idea of "machine gun"...

If you import it yourself, tell the seller to fold it up with the flashlight attachment, the border guys will be like "Oh it's just a flashlight, let it through." muhahaha.

Uhh it needs to be a KSC or KWA GBB Glock 18C slide to work. An AEP Glock will not work. Do some reading.

How so? No need to be rude about it. I dont understand why it wouldnt work. AEP's dont have moving slides. My trigger would remain the same. Squeeze the trigger, make it shoot. Simple. Are you trying to say my g18c slide wont fit into the case/wont allow the case to close? If so, some modifications could be made.

It wouldn't work. The amount of modification required is far beyond what you imagine. You literally need to redesign the whole thing to accommodate an AEP's motor system to swing into place perfectly. It's just not feasible.

Lets say yay for broken links. I guess I had this whole thing thought out wrong,. I just thought you put the gun inside that. AKA its just a overlay case. (Like you put the gbb into it, and the rest is there for looks. Or atleast for the airsoft version.)
