The problem is those alarms is dirt cheap already and I'm not willing to paid for something that you can buy cheap oversea but paid double or triple in Canada while it's the same thing. My point is those alarm is not precise, you can't rely on them. The best option is get lipo monitor, trigger master, count the BBs.

By the way, you don't want to know how much I paid for my lipo set up, I spend almost 200 $ alone for just charger.

Lipo monitor is like that

Not those two, I give out that battery to a friend to test out. Those battery are brand new, I maybe never charge them or use yet. It has been too long that I can't recall back the memory.

Edit : I'm sure that I haven't use them or charge yet since I rewire my battery to use in crane stock with 9.6 V 3600 mah before I got them and those two battery bought to use in vertical grip which I still have the grip.

I almost blew my face up with 11.1 V with those alarm, it won't just alarm last time and my 11.1 V is gone up to 2.8 V and it's freaking hot.

The best way is to count your BBs or get trigger master.

btw, I had similar results with a cheap alarm buzzer, it was doing a lot of false alarm thats why I never tried to discharge my battery with it.

thats what I'm using now, I checked with a multimeter and it looks accurate!

Looks like you have yours fixed so you can look under the hand guard to check? Wouldn't the red light give away your position (in dark areas)?

Would think a small piece of electric tape could fix that problem.

Where did you pick that little display up from?

wait i don't get it... So an alarm is a necessity when using lipos? I can i just use a lipo and a mosfet(trigger master...etc.)?

You can say that but again those alarm is not really preicse ( read somewhere that an airsoft guy like Donp made a good one ) but again more or less they are not good. The reason that you may need those alarm is because you don't want to discharge your Lipo battery Below 3.0 V since when Lipo reach 3.0 V mean it's empty and if it continue to discharge, the cells could be damage.

Yes, you can use Lipo battery with mosfet like Trigger Master MARK III that has low voltage detect on Lipo battery or other way is checking your Lipo battery with a decent Lipo monitor to determine how many rounds of BBs that you can shot through to fully discharge them and then start counting it next time. My 7.4 V 1750 mah is probably last about 2000 rds.

You need a PCB, wolfdragon makes really good ones (google wolfdragon PCB)
Problem with the triggermasters is firstly, they're cutoff is 85% of your startup voltage. So if you have an 11.1v LiPo that's half charged, it'll go under 9v
And even if you have an SW-comp that measures input voltage and cuts off the battery at 9v, your cells aren't necessarily all at 3.0v (could be 2.9, 3.0 and 3.1)

Although a PCB isn't absolutely required, it's still a really good idea. I bought a wolfdragon PCB, it plugs into my triggermaster and makes the gun stop shooting before any of the cells go under 3v.

Thanks budz. I was just looking around trying to figure out to convert Miz gun over to lipo.

What charger and alarm do you have bro?

I got all that shit from Hobby King in HK. Here is the alarm I got: linky linky. Although now I have to double check to make sure it is working properly after what KND has said. Next time out I will bring my multimeter and keep on eye on the battery/alarm.

As for the charger I got this Turnigy charger/balancer coupled with this power supply.

I prefer to keep it visible, so I can monitor my batttery once in a while

I heard some people bought it for 20$ in country but you can get it on Ebay for 5$ free shipping!
