Personally in terms of Mags I have on me, I like to carry a full battle load.
Which is 10 Mags. I never use em all but I like to know I have em if I need em.
That and as far as mil-sim goes... With GBBR mags it makes the weight more realistic and the ammo realistic as well.

Right now for my second line I'm running an LBT 6094A Slick with "plates" I made for more realistic weight (Until I get some training plates) with a TT MAV 2 piece over top of that (Which I haven't gotten all the pouches I want for it yet).

I carry 7 - 9 on me and the other 3-5 in my 3rd line, back at HQ, so when I am there and I need to swap out mags, I can just replace empty mags with fresh ones and then off I go. I am seriously considering doing a slick carrier with a rig over it, or just running a carrier with molle on it. Not sure yet which, but I lke a lot of weight on me, personally it doesn't start to slow me down until it goes over the 50 lb total mark. Now if I was going to a game like Rhino or pine plains, then yes I would carry a full battle load - 10 - 12 - as those games are more balls to the wall for 24 hrs, again this all comes down to play style, scenario and problems that arise. Like I said towards where Fox plays you have no choice but to empty mag after mag in order to move your guys around, because no one knows how to use a support weapon properly. A support weapon is there so your guys can move around, its why the support gunners carry quite a heavy ammo load, so they can sustain large volumes of fire, pin down the enemy and move your guys up so you can attack that enemy and increase the chance of survival of your squad, but consequnetly, people (those who are with a support gunner) have no idea how to use a support gunner.

I remember back at a training sim run before OP warewolf last year, where our 60 gunner was hit, he left his 60 and walked back to respawn, I took his gun (he told us ealier that we were allowed to do this) and layed on the trigger towards the area where large amounts of fire were coming from, effectly stopping the fire from that area, and giving us some breathing room by pinning down the enemy. Here's the funny bit, the guys on my team never even moved up, I kept yelling out "position suppressed, move up," only to look behind me and everyone was still hunkering behind a tree not knowing what to do, I finally had to walk the 60 forward to show them what to do, after wasting over a 1000 rounds trying to tell the guys in my squad what to do (this was also brought up in the AAR following that sim).

Well, his gear is repro chinese clone gear. Dont know how hard you play, so I dont know how long it will last, but I will say this. Buy real, buy once.

Thanks, I am just inquiring, as it will be used for direct action only (I.E. CQB games such as OP Rhino or any game at Picton for that matter) I am fairly rough on my gear, but that was what I was afraid of.

Pantac RRV: Coyote Brown
Two Pantac Double M14 Mag pouches
Eagle Industry Admin Pouch: OD
Spec Ops Phone Holder: OD
Spec Ops Wolf Hook: Coyote Brown
Random Patches
US Rangers step counter, repo

Over my sling area, I'm not sure if I should have a pouch or not. I was thinking of having a medic pouch there but I could just put that stuff in my new back panel when I get it. What do you guys think?

Pantac RRV Back panel: Coyote Brown
Eagle Industry Utility pouch: Tan
I'm planning on changing out the back panel for the Hydration/backpack and setting up my radio system from there too. I'm just using a crappy radio right now on my front, in the phone holder.

Unknown belt: OD
Eagle Industry Leg holster: Tan
Eagle Industry Drop Leg Dump pouch: Tan

I like it very much, although my experience with PC's is limited. I owned a CIRAS before and i prefer the DPC over it due to its light weight, low profile, sleek design, snug fit, and ease of adjustment. I also like the ability to just run the front/back plates if needed as the cummerbund can be removed and replaced with the supplied buckles. If you are running real plates the DPC is good as it has foam? cushions (best way i can explain lol) that are already in place which fit in-between the wearer and the plates which makes it very very comfortable . The shape/size is similar to a LBT 6094a so if your looking for an alternative or something similar (but quite a bit lower in price $270 vs $330 for 6094a) i would go for this.

BUT be warned, my DPC is a genuine eagle but made in the Dominican Republic not USA although i haven't noticed any quality drops verses their other USA made products.
(if it being made in DR bothers you i wouldn't buy it then)
(also not sure if all DPC's are made in DR or just a few like mine)
