Not only you reduce recoil, the gun is more faster and accurate.
If you want realistic, move onto RS or leave the gun stock, or shove a steel slide on it.

Do any of you replace the magazine base plate with a rubber pad (ie. 1cm thick)? Of course this wouldn't look as nice in photos but practically speaking, this should prolong the magazine life? I realize there are metal base plate, but that can't absorb shock as well as rubber does.

Its possible with tons of effort, (If you're using a stiff spring) since the more compressed a spring is, the stiffer it is. I'm using a standard buffer + washer with mine and even like that it was hard to get in. I'd imagine it'd be more possible and easier to do with a stock spring, but I'm using an upped.

Went down to hard research finding the closest shit to real SVI. From trigger to hammer.

All upgraded except for a stock hop up unit, frame screw(1), and leaf spring.

Thumb rest still needs to go on.
