Hopefully ill be done machining tomorrow. At least thats the plan. Then they go out to anodizing and then into your hands. also the waranty will be full coverage. Altho if you guys manage to break one it might take me a bit to replace i gotta get more stock in and make a couple extra for waranty sake.

I am not entirely sure, Im sending my parts out with some of the companies parts. And when they send for anno they dont send small amounts. But usually they get all the parts back within the same week sent. So im hoping no more than a week.
Also to get some small talk going and some thoughts perhaps, what does everything think of the Scar H-PR that was released sometime mid last month? heres a link to the blog, tell me what you think, i may have some ideas on a next project. Maybe... http://onlygunsandmoney.blogspot.com...car-rifle.html Last edited by deadlydayne; July 1st, 2011 at 07:58.. |

The new SCAR looks neat, but I don't think more "rail estate" is needed on a SCAR. I'm still hoping for an M4 stock conversion personally but it seems I'm pretty much alone on that one.

HAHAHA, if i had a lathe. I do however have a company with a shload of screw machines.... maybe..... also as a small update.... if i do say so myself damn when i get it right i do some fine work, these look so good i may have to keep them all for myself =P anodize goes out next week 5th of july and should only take 1 week. Thats the companies standard anno time. They said at latest 2 weeks (but thats only if they fuck up the color, and normally thats only on gunmetal grey, black they get right first time everytime)

i found out after bought WA system although they have loads of aftermarket parts available, the thing is that they're not cheap. the nozzle keeps deformed after couple hundred shots and need reinforced parts every here and there, it almost cost me an arm and a leg...
well that's the other story.. anyway. has anyone seen any replacement nozzle for open bolt? i only found RA tech nozzle for closed bolt, just in case this one damaged I just prep up my scar as soon as I read that this part is going to be available soon. but when I fill my long abandoned WE mags and all three of them are leaking. are the o-rings shrunk when it is not filled with gas? hopefully no more breaking on the other parts... |

try oiling your mags, mine leaked for a bit (i run C02), i pressed the nozzle in on the mag, dropped some oil in and voila no more leak. I havent seen a replacement nozzle, but i havent been looking either, so they might be there somewhere. Unless WE is fairly confident the plastic one wont break anytime soon (yea right)

There is a guide on how to fix leaky mags on this forum. I have tried it and it works. It involves buying blue gasket maker. Great stuff.
