You never know; With that massive gap, you could probably attach your radio between it and just use that!

No need for headsets anymore!

hey morb, it shouldnt affect your cheek weld, according to the article anyway. If you are referring to the comms though, if you use the other side of the face you should be fine... if not im sure it would still not be greatly affected. it would probably be like wearing comms without it.

I'm not worried about comms...but i really can't see a decent cheek weld. Like wearing a full face mask. How can it not interfere?

it would only push it away what maybe 1/5 of an inch? depending on thickness. You could compensate/adjust for that pretty quick with little practice

Very cool . I cant believe we are producing modern copies of very old armours , helmets , its very cool. Our ancestors did great job and we are still using their designs.

These came out this week, an alternative to the Crye option

I would have liked these more if they were available in a plastic as opposed to fabric, as I'd love to get a custom paint job on it.

Ebairsoft has a photo of their replica up:

I'm pumped. With a little bit of metal mesh to cover that gap, this looks like a great option for face protection integrated with your helmet, especially if you're reluctant to use helmet rails to mount one of the mesh masks.

About time. Just skin it with your fabric of choice and your all set.
