There is no orange tip for airsoft in Canada. Only the pieces of crap from Canadian Tire.

I've never heard of a gun bought from a Candian retailer with an orange tip, but I may be mistaken.

Yes I was talking about the orange tips on the cheap guns from that site displayed in this thread

Btw, I have read the rules and faqs on this site, I do know that playing airsoft in public is dangerous and will get you screwed if someone sees you, but I asked because its not technically "public" the chances of being seen is really low because its grounds owned by the cotage owner ( my friends rent ).

I want to play but im not sure i want to play at a field where everyone will have uber experiance and better equipment to own me with

You don't have to have a ton of experience at a game just the willingness to learn while you play and have fun.
Realy the games are where everyones best side comes out n most ppl there are just happy to be out to a game and just want to have a good time.
It's not hard for a first time player to get caught up in the fun and enjoying meeting the ppl there and shooting the shit between fire fights.

If you don't plan on going to games might as well just buy soft air guns from crappy tire and play wherever you please and save some cash.

Here is a more indepth review I wrote recently.
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=20190

Their guns, at least the ICS ones, do NOT have trademarks unless specified.
They DO have red tips. At least the ICS ones with no trades...
They DO add tax on their guns, but the ICS prices are amazing

I recommend this retailer, totally, have you ever tried getting ahold of SpecArms? It's HORRIBLE!
Canadian Airsoft has GREAT customer service, and as stated, they don't rape you on shipping!

mcguyver, a forum member here plays with them and is very involved with their business, make sure to direct any questions you have to him, he's got answers to everything! (Sorry mcguyver, make sure your PM is not full  )

my involvement is limited to, and only to, doing repair work for them as needed (nobody else around here does it). besides that i buy all my guns there and why not. they're local for me and if i need something small, like bb's, i can get them in 5 minutes. most guys are forced to buy online as it is they don't have local retailers. i buy nothing online, ever, and see no need to ever do so. frank and i talk all the time about "should i bring this in?" or "what parts do we need" so i here shop talk all the time. frank is an old-school paintballer and as he runs the largets paintball retailer in canada and supplies many retailers nationally, this is a sideline for him. but he didn't get his paintball business as big as it is by being a prick. he's a very easy guy to get along with and has bent over backwards for me for years. i've heard from guys around here who bought a gun and had it breakdown a couple of days later and he just replaced it for the guy with a new one. now, i don't know what other guys do as i don't buy from them, but i do know few retailers in any field (airsoft or otherwise) that do that. frank enjoys airsoft and actually comes out to play with us about once a month. you can purchase from whomever you like as this still is a free country and retailers will always have die-hard supporters (as i am for canadian airsoft).

I have never ever seen or heard of an ICS that didn't have any trademarks before... you have pics or a link or something to verify this because to my knowledge ICS has never produced a blank gun for retail sale.

remember Robin Sage in aug. orvis and i were paired up on your team? my ics had no trades and red tip, but i painted my tip. i used it again at the stony plain field in sept. when you ran john's m60. i don't have a digital camera but if you have pics of me then you'll see it. i think jp is getting an ics. his probably won't have trades and have a red tip.

It does not matter; you can get seen in an area where it's not allowed. By 'public' we mean anywhere that is not fenced-in and where someone could see you while hiking. This means any person at all, it does not mean public lands.
Even on private land, this is NOT legal. Ok?
You're also underaged, that is your current primary problem.

Play at a field with the consent of your parents, and learn, or wait until you are 18. Even then, play at a field where it's allowed and nowhere else.

Would you carry a real machine gun around? No? Then dont do this. The police will deal with you as if they were real. Try to explain that to your parents from jail and decide if it's worth trying.

This is Quebec, I know what the QPP thinks about airsoft. I have tons of legal permits and even then I would not do this. Clear?
