Its Issued, but its good to sell. Ive verified it, and tracked down the original purchaser of the vest. Who is a mountie. ( surprise) Anyways its brand friggin new, the serial number isnt even issued, and the manual doesnt even have a crease in it!

I believe it stands for decommissioned. Not entirely sure though.

ive decided to bail out on the whole Canadian vest thing, a little hot to touch IMO. I dont want to get court marshalled!

Heh....you can only get courtmarshalled if you are in the military. YOU would be arrested by the RCMP, and charged by the Crown.

The vest in the picture is not a Canadian T.V. It is even not made with real CADPAT material. The strap you`re talking about is much more smaller on the real one.

the one that was pictured in the http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/Chief_L.../2/2711_e.asp#, at least the one that i was going to acquire in a trade was the Real thing, had a manual and everything from the canadian government.
