UPDATED : Repainted Butt Stock. I used the roughest sand paper, then I painted. The feel of the stock feels rough and sand paper ish. Perfect for my grip now. Too bad you can't see in the pics of the texture of the stock.

Change the flash hider for one of those vortex one.

It's a SPR, there's no way such a flashhider would fit on it as far as logic goes.

I am thinking of getting that same one, almost or exact one in my sig. hah.
Thanks for the find Ronan. *Brakoo* Yes I cannot change it, but I can change the outer barrel, but that's more work. I figured to just get a silencer. |

the silencers are sick hitman verry diffrent form the flash hiders i got a g and p one. They made the gun allmost silent highly recomended but dont change it to the ugly vortex ones it just wouldnt be a spr with out the flashhider.

I believe theirs a silencer built to go with that flash hider. Very sexy stuff.
and Brakoo why wouldn't a SPR have that flash hider? What makes the one Mr. Hitman a must have for a SPR? Iv seen that flash hider around but not sure why its 'the SPR flash hider' to use?? |

It's suddenly very tempting to get the stuff so I can convert my pro-win to an SPR.....
Looks good. |

@Hitman: That's actually kinda nice. But regarding the barrel/flash hider, you actually sanded part of the flash hider, or more specifically the collar used for mounting the suppressor; the airsoft versions of the SPR FH are kinda strange, being all one piece. The real Ops Inc mount is actually two parts: the muzzle brake (its technically a brake, not a FH) and a collar that mounts onto the barrel behind it, used to support the suppressor (which extends back over the barrel when mounted). Here's a pic:
Regular 12.5" barrel with A2 FH (reference): 12.5" barrel with OPS brake and collar installed: Real steel (SS barrel) with mount: So my recommendation would be to repaint the mount portion black. Even if its a slightly different black it won't matter: as you can see in the pics the two items can sometimes be a bit different in finish. EDIT: Another thing I noticed, the brake ports on yours are facing Up/Down, they should be facing Left/Right (the real ones are meant to stabilize the gun by redirecting gas; having it face up down would make it kick funny, plus kick up a lot of dirt) Quote:
On the real one it would be possible to just take off the OPS brake and use another flash hider, but you'd lose the suppressor mounting threads (they're part of the brake, not the barrel). In which case there's no more reason to have the collar, either. Plus the point of getting an SPR is having it look like an SPR, otherwise you might as well just get some AR with RAS like the last pic I posted.

Wow thanks Drake. My flash hider cannot come off like you said the weird airsoft versions. The brake ports are up and down because I thought it looked cool. LOL!
But anyways, I'm going to have to paint my mount portion black. It does look good with it in your last pic. Thanks for the explanation and pics. |

yeah if its d boys the same one as huang sells its stuck on the one protion with the threads will come off though, its weird ill take a picture but the portion that is stuck to your barrel is stuck, I havent found a way to get mine off either the outher portion with the air breaks can screw off(with some noticable force) and can be replaced with a g and p spr one, but the threads are allredy good for the g and p sprs silencers.

Why haven't you gotten rid of that fore-grip yet?
That thing is WAY too far up the gun. Looks Ok... May I suggest using white out and painting "US SECRET SERVICES" and "US GOVEMENT" onto it? |
