You folks from Manitoba (and anyone else!) are welcome anytime. It was a pleasure to meet you all and I'm glad you had a good time at BW II.

I think you'll be really pleased in Border Wars III and what we have planned.

2 nights and 2 days .. Friday to Sunday.. Camping in, Saturday dinner in .. and play in a once in a lifetime venue..

Your sense of value is off.

This is cheap at twice the price.

hmm lets do the math.... $25 for 4 hours of play at a paintball field... and some rotgut hotdogs thrown in... and you get the added benefit of sharing the field with 13 year old paintballers...

VS

16 + hours of play on a dedicated 150 acre field with about 100 000 square feet of mutli level structures in an immersive military simulation environment with about 250 of your closest friends...for what will be for most a singular experience in their life....

NO comparison in Value..

Save $1.00 a day between now and then... and its paid for.

I live in Windsor. It costs a fair amount to get there and back as well.

And if there's going to be 250 people, $125 is QUITE steep. That's like $25000 - $30000.

Facility has to be rented.. Insurance paid ( which for an event such as this would be a premium in the thousands ) and staff paid.

And event of this size will take months of work to organize for the primary planner and weeks for several other people.

Fact is.. either you want in or you don't the cost is the cost.

if the price was negotiable .. there would be an OBO after it was quoted.

the cost of a movie , and good dinner with a bottle of wine... for 2 people easily outstrips this.... and thats done and over in like 4 hours..

Expensive... compared to what?

Were not making money on this event the land fees and insurence are tens of throusands. If your were to play in any large event like Operation Irene in the states you pay $160 US easy with no food and they charge you for accomodation. I wish the event could be cheaper but its not going to happen. Who do you think fronts all the money and sign all the documents I do so its a huge risk to me personally. The facility is worth 2 1/2 million dollars and is suppose to be demolished next year. So this is one of our last chances to use such a facility in Canada.

Trust me, this place looks dope. I want to be there. I'm gonna damn well try to be there.

It's just the initial shock of that number.............W00T!

If you know what I do, you know I understand the little costs that add up that the customer doesn't realize are there.

I, for one, WILL pay that much. My biggest problem is bringing all my guns.

I think the price is fair, Go golf somewhere like Pebble Beach and you will pay US$350. +
I am also sure that there are some $100.+ courses in and around the GTA.
I will pay $100. for a round on a quality golf course, it is not an every weekend thing , but maybe twice a season.
For the amount of hours of entertainment, at a quality facility, and probably some parting gifts for all, ( ie a nice embroidered ballcap, and t-shirt or something), it is a fair price.
I'm going to try and make it east for this event. It will probably be a 7 day tour, and a fucking hatload of cash, but it will be a helluva road trip.
