Yeah. and it worked even after they put it in a pail of water. Amazing durability. Does Real sword make M16/M4 series rifles?

They make the Type 97 and Type 97B which take STANAG magazines.

Wow, that gun looks like a bad mix of a FAMAS and an SA80. I think I'll hold out for an Armalite.

Actually they have gotten great reviews. But to each his own.

Well, I just don't like how it looks. I'm sure it gets great reviews for quality. Even if they don't make an Armalite I would go with an AK variant.

That's fine, I prefer the looks of the wood stock anyways, going to remove the bayonet though. Is there a recommended battery for it? Or any 8.4v will do?

I run a 9.6V stick battery in mine. Fits perfectly in the gas tube under the dust cover. You could easily fit up to a 12V stick battery there. You can also fit a custom 8.4V or 9.6V mini battery into the stock.

Perfect. Just ordered it from one of our retailers, the wait begins!

EDIT -

Could anyone link a site that sells real sword mags? I also am looking for something that holds two mags together so when one clip runs out i can pull it out and switch to the other, if you know what i mean.

I have read that this gun only shoots at 295 fps. Is it just me or does this seem really low for such a high end gun?

Is this gun sufficiently "well built" enough to only require a spring upgrade to get the fps up to an acceptable level?

Thanks

Gordo

FPS means shit.

It's one of the easiest things to change on a gun.

High FPS guns are only like that to sucker new players into thinking they're better.

From what I've read, the only thing weak about the mechbox is the spring. It can stand up to HK field limits (~450fps) in stock config (replace spring).

Mags

Ak Magazine Coupler

But for the record, 100mph tape works just as well.
