You need to sand that nub straight down so it's flat. When you release the mag using the release button, it would drop the mag half way and stay in the magwell, sanding down that nub will make it drop completely.
Smooth reloads.

That's what mine did for a while but it eventually wore itself down so no worries....but thanks for the tip

The ABS ones are pretty solid, and if you're gonna get to the point where you're smashing your mags purposely on a concrete floor then you're doing something wrong. If they drop from a magwell during a firefight, nothing is going to happen to them, even if you're doing the Chris Costa reload.

Regarding that, Chris says that the tecnique isn't meant to turn the gun so the mag flies out, it just happens sometimes when he's moving quickly. The idea is just to hit the mag release so it falls out. Besides, why would you need to check the chamber for airsoft anyways

I don't know what the reload is called, so I said the chamber check thing.
Spinning the gun makes the mag come out faster, and in a easy position to speed reload.

Anyways, I bet the STAR PMAGs won't last under a truck. LOL! But the STAR PMAG has that real steel look with that strip thing on the mag..

Anyways, more new stuff for the mags.

Just got back from driving over my star pmag with my SUV, didn't break or nothing. I didn't go to the extreme of parking on top and steering left and right though. Granted the 120 rnd is tougher, but not everyone plans on crushing the shit out of their mags or throwing it off the CN tower to see if it will break.

reload thing is debatable.

the strip thing.... you talking about the embossed image of a bullet and the caliber markings?

the molding marks for the side window. the cheaper RS PMAGs have that instead of the clear window.

Just to add some info to this thread, I own three of the MagPul/Star Green Label 20rd mags, and they've jammed with Excel .25's, Airsoft Elite .25's, Bioval BBB MAX .27's, and KSC .3's. Jammed so badly the last time that throwing the mag at the ground as hard as I could 5+ times, and shoving a precision screwdriver down the mag couldn't unjam the BB's somehow...

People may tell me to add lube to the mags, but I don't have to ever do that with my TM or MAG brand mags for years now, so I'm not doing that since these are for a 500 FPS with .25's DM rifle and that will mess up the hop-up's consistency which will make a DM rifle useless.

I've used the PMAG/Star green label mags with Bastard .25 and Madbulls.25 didn't jammed on me even once, you probably just got a lemon, the older Star mags is a different story they jammed like hell doesn't matter what bb's I used, I still have like 2 x 10 mag box in the basement and thewy are the crappiest ones i've used.

I got three lemons then because all 3 mags have done the same. If you read the review on ASR of these Green Label mags (the guy sadly bought something like 4 boxes of them in different sizes/colors), he has the same problem as me.

It isn't the problem of the mags BB catch being too long either (I already trimmed mine so the BB's feed into the hop-up unit), but these jams occur farther down in the mag so no BB's are even getting up to the top of the feed tube.

I heard you will get more lemons in a box order then a single mag order gor Green Label.
You also cannot use the PMAG plates with the STAR ones, they do not have that little spring pusher on the bottom.

Okay wtf... I just got my PMAGs ran over on the rear tire of the Jimmy, and the bottom plate busted and cracked the body. The internals are find, and didn't break. The weather is -7 at 5:22PM.

Just imagine if I used my F150..
