To make things clear, this thread intended to focus on the POST-purchase dissonance.
ok Jaime, here are the options i have come up with 1.partial refund for the gun.(sorry but i didn't get what i paid for, and you should know how much the AEG is really worth.) 2.payment for gun doc services to fix the issues.(that includes the parts necessary to bring it to a functional level) i do have a couple local gun docs in mind.*note this excludes the spade connector. 3.complete refund The first 2 options should inclue a new selector switch. it really is broken and this wasn't mentioned in the sales thread at all. There are also a couple cracks on the plastic where the you secure front end to the inner barrel.as i'm typing the mechbox is still sitting on my desk...with the spring compressed still.. Let me know your decision or any alternatives you can come up with. I refuse to throw any more of my money away in this. So i won't be mailing it back to you for repairs or modifications unless you pay for the shipping. Thank you |

Sorry bro, any of those suggestions are just plain ridiculous.
-Gun was fully functional, and lipo ready(The internals are high quality), until you broke off the motor connector. And yes, you admitted yourself in PMs that you broke if off yourself(That you snapped it off yourself.). At least 7 people can attest to this rifle's great funtionality first hand locally, 4 have used it in Panther games, 3 others have handled it on different occasions. -Moreover, you stripped the screws yourself, and you are blaming me for it. This is obvious, if I stripped it, then I could not have screwed it on so tight and so firmly. Slightly over finger tight is always the rule. There were also no physical damage to the screws before shipping, in your picture it looks as if its destroyed completely. Who did it? It's painfully obvious. -Selector switch is not broken. How many times do I have to say this for you to understand? It's a 0.5mm chip and has nothing to do with the functionality. You are pointing this out only to make your case look better. You can't even see it when the gun is assembled. -As to the bushings. Yes, I did those. But these are not 6mm bushings, not 7mm, but 8MM bushings. They are virtually indestructible, and if the axles are held correctly, the friction is as constant as the highest friction, which is the single upper sector gear bushing. Another thing, you didn't shoot a SINGLE round before you disassembled it.. You told me this yourself. Let's look at this one more time: You bought the item. Which I delivered, and NONE of those descriptions on the sales thread were a lie. All problems(which was one problem, Non-Functioning semi auto) was CLEARLY MENTIONED in the sales thread. So you get the item, doesn't fire a single shot. Starts tampering with it, strip the screws, snap off the motor lead, and then now asks ME to repay you for the damage, or provide a refund. In addition, you begin nit picking every thing that looks even remotely negative on the rifle to make your case look better to the public, even if it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Looks OR functionality. I tried my best to help you. I sent you two free extra bushings because I had extras and since 8mm were hard to find, I thought you would find it grateful that you have spares. I even offered to send you a brand new Prometheus gold motor lead for only $4 when you told me you snapped the old one off. Does this sound fair, or moral to ANYONE? This is why manufactures VOIDS your warranty if you disassemble the gun. Last edited by Skladfin; January 15th, 2010 at 21:25.. |

HOLY SHIET wow you guys.
I DID NOT, I repeat, I DID NOT force the purchase. HE CONTACTED ME BACK AND SAID HE WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THE RIFLE HIMSELF. Why is this not clear to anyone? And ALL problems WERE/ARE listed in the thread, NONE were lies, I even provided him with MORE than what was included in the original sales FOR A LESS PRICE. holy mother of god... 3rd parties please KEEP YOUR OPINIONS to yourself. |

Here is the PM A DAY before he contacted me back. This is after I sent him a negative trader rating, and he sent me a neutral. This is BEFORE he purchased the AEG.

EDIT: I just also read that he said the motor lead was originally snapped off when he opened up the grip. Hey here is a question you should ask yourself, How would I install it if it was snapped! Last edited by Skladfin; January 15th, 2010 at 22:14.. |

Holy shit people, a moderator and an administrator both posted on here saying if you aren't cerealmaniac or Skladfin you need to STFU. It wasn't a fucking suggestion.

wow... just wow.....i posted the PM's and ppl can read them themselves. whatever's broken is broken. u can't argue with that. I already said ill take care of the stripped screw and the motor connector. as for how you stripped the screw i don't know. There is even a hair/fibre on it. clearly u didn't work in a clean environment. and NO i never told you i SNAPPED them off.I want you to stop referring to the stripped screws and the motor connection spade tab, and everything before the purchase. i don't care about those. I'm more worried about what the damage is in the gun. I want a gun doc to fix this and i'm sure you know this wasn't a good deal on my end at all. I tried to be nice with you and you give me this POS. sorry but this simply isn't going to work out.Go through the PM's. i paid $400 for XX and i got XY. read the PM's i clearly told you what happened.

You're complaining about hair!? cmon man! you can see me in my avatar, I have long hair, hair drops naturally, we're all human, holy shiet =="
What damage in the gun? NOTHING IS BROKEN. When WILL YOU GET IT? It's 100% functional, not only that, it works like a beast, local players can attest to this. I'm really amazed at how much you can say without even firing a single shot. You even went as far as telling me that "this gun will not last long", well, Here are what's in the gun. - Brand New Steel 300% High Torque Gears(Yup, it wasn't in the sales thread, but there's a $50 upgrade I didnt mention. Check it when you manage to open it.) - Stock TM Piston/Modified Piston head - Prometheus M110 spring - Systema Metal Bearing spring guide. - Systema Selector Plate - TM EG700 motor - Brand New King Arms 8mm Reinforced Mechbox(And you're telling me "it won't last long"?) - Brand New 5KU solid bushing and King Arms 8mm Bearings - Systema air seal nozzle for MP5 - TM cylinder head - Systema Hop up rubber - Systema 6.04 Brass Tightbore - Modify Safety Catch and TM Anti reversal latch. -TM hop unit shim - modified for better accuracy and consistency The rifle is very accurate, In fact, if you use a RDS, it will fly straight into the Red Dot. Plus, Everything is functional - Some parts even Brand new - And they are ALL high quality parts. I didn't cut corners anywhere. In fact I even reshimmed and regreased it properly just for you before shipping. You paid $400 for XX, and got XX + more than you bargained for. What else do you want from me? what brand are the high torque gears. i don't want open it up and HONESTLY. the gearbox itself is really really really nice..but really it would be VERY nice if you can somehow come up with a selector switch.. the selector plate says MP on them somehow. the "will not last long thing" was more for the trigger assembly and the gears(assumed they were TM stock ones). |

MP is label for MP5/G3 series selector plate.
The Gears, Spur Gear is King Arms High Torque, and I used Element MAX Torque 300% STEEL Gear for Sector and bevel, because the sector is the most likely gear to have problem over time, I used a Steel one instead of typical TM Aluminum gears. I shimmed it perfectly, rotates without a sound, and gear whine minimal. Trigger assembly is stock TM, has no corrosion of any sort either. KWA markets their gun "Lipo Ready" They don't have MOSFETs either, same with SRC. Last edited by Skladfin; January 16th, 2010 at 02:46.. |

Your right, the selector plate is not systema. Probably Prometheus. Check the pictures, http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-p...p5-series.html I know it's red. I believe the only brands that make red selector plates for MP5s G&P, Prometheus, and KA, so its one of those. Either way it's a high quality one, assured. And for god's sake, I said this a million times. The selector switch is NOT BROKEN.... If it's broken, you can't reassemble it... I feel like a broken record just repeating myself over and over...
