Still a great piece, will most likely be more consistent when it is upgraded. I am liking the tan color for it, as well as the extra magazines. I am jealous you have more then one!

They were something like $40 US each on the extras. Was quite the cost, but worth it when it's the one version I have always wanted! M40A3, 4, 5 ftw.

I love the color too! I dont know if I even want to paint it all one color or not.. Maybe I'll give it the good ol' Jarhead paint job.. Or possibly paint it all a slightly more earthy tan tone. I dont even know yet.

First of all : Hello fellow snipers
I'm new here so I'm gonna present my 'junk'




I hope the link works.
I wasnt sure about sniping. So I've decided to start cheap. With a used well L96. I liked it.
so for now, it as:
- a metal cylinder
- new spring, piston etc in it
-metal trigger
-barrel spacer
-little twikking everywhere for better seal et solidity.
And Im not gentle so its an homemade suppressor for the look but mostly for the protection of the gun. Its just an empty plastik suppressor to absorb the shocks hehe. And for now, it works fine.

She work surprisingly nicely for a cheaper. lots of range and really constant. but she's also to strong on the FPS side. So now, Im waiting on new parts to try to downgrade it a little and still shot decent.
I have really took measure, but I outrange my friend ares msr. And I had no problem to adjust my scope at 100 feet. And after that, to shot a plastic bottle at that range. But she's also at 550fps

if you have any tips for me, feel free to say.

indeed rare stuff, only 200 or less in this world . good job man.

Asahi made 125 M40's and 125 M700's after the confirmed rumor it could shoot with a few modifications a 22LR rounds police recalled back the gun and destroyed them.
The owners who didn't return the warranty cards managed to keep them but they could never be displayed or sold in Japan.
So all were smuggled out.
There are less than 24 pieces left of both versions !

hmmm, as far as I remember there were 1000 pieces made and around 200 sold before the Japanese government decided to ban it and seized them becoz 70% of the parts are from real m40a1, I could be wrong. anyway, its a true unicorn and congrats man.

Like the Asahi WA 200 they made 2 versions of 125 guns of each version.
The WA 2000 was also released in 1993.. And they barely managed to finish the WA2000 before the M40 issue brake loose.
Some of the Standard (STD) versions of the WA 2000 are 90% DX! Just some minor details make it STD!
Only 250 M700/M40 ever made all sold in Japan originally now I'm not sure how many are left in Japan. But I have seen Asahi converted to Tanaka M700! With the gas in mag versions not the shell eject.
