edit: I'll wait till I get a dremel or something. the receiver that I have for my MP5K fits slightly smaller than the original one. for example the mag fits tighter in the current receiver than previous one. I used a file in an attempt to reduce the size on the ramp but I'd need a dremel to cut it more precise.
use the stock screw. i have a newer MP5K and never had a problem installing the ramp.

The MP5SD

Picked this up three days ago. Only issue i'm having with it is it doesnt like to feed all the time. but for a trade from a mp7 I think I made off like a bandit.

So I'm having a small issue. I just installed an Azimuth recoil rod, bolt head, bolt guides and cylinder along with a Falcon rifled inner barrel. Now my cocking handle doesn't lock back. It seems to be off by a couple mm now. -_- Any thoughts? Thanks

your only option is the azimuth mag follower with bolt stop function. but good luck finding one most online shops are out of stock.

anyone have any experience using real steel guts?

I've been told that the RS mp5 lower with all the internals is a drop fit to the VFC upper.

Why is it so damn difficult to find upgrade parts for these guns?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I've heard many conflicting things about these guns. Are they worth buying? A local retailer has the mp5a3 for under 500 bucks right now, and it's caught my eye. A lot of the reviews I've read, people seem to state that they're not the best quality, then on the other hand, I've heard they're awesome... Which is it?

Thanks.

They're awesome but they need work out of the box to reach full potential especially if you run them outdoors. I'd say typical indoor stuff they're pretty well G2G.
