It would feel heavy if you're used to aluminum airsoft barrels, yeah. I had a steel SFW barrel on my first AEG until I got the GBBR several years later. I made a habit of only getting steel on my airsoft, and I got a Norinco M1A clone before the AR (RS), so it feels pretty light by comparison.

My acm UBR came with 2 buffer tubes, one for aeg and one for gbb. It also came with 2 butt pads and 2 cheek pieces. I compared it to the genuine PTS UBR at my local airsoft store and couldn't tell the difference so I would advise you to get the acm version to save some cash. You can see a picture mine a page back.

willing to perform services in a dark alley that may or may not leave you satisfied for a title. GFE = 1, looks = 2, BBFS for an extra $50.

Hephaestus steel trigger unit (more trouble than I though)
FG high speed buffer (650 to 700 RPM)
FG low flow system (very consistent 300 or so FPS)
RA-Tech wood handguard (bought without gimpy grip)
RS bakelite grip (custom fit with wood guide block to give proper alignment, very secure with no play front to back or side to side)
Lightly weathered to make it look like it came strait from the sand box.
I think you're doing it wrong.

Think I'm going to pick this fella up and do some modding to it. Different RIS, stock, internals.

What do you peoples think that grip would look like in front an UBR stock? I'm torn. I would perhaps trade it for a different grip, though I'm going to weigh weather it's worth it to buy this rather than something more stock after what I'm going to do to it

If you're going with that gun you should consider the PRS stock to fit the sniper theme. It's only $25 more than a UBR.

I was thinking about that. I'll see what I feal like when it happens. Probably have to wait for Christmas bonuses.

I think I will drop that grip come to think of it. Might just go with a MAGpul grip

Never mind, since I'd be replacing every part on there other than the barrel (which I would probably be tempted to change anyway to run a flash hider) I'll probably just start with a basic KA m4 platform.
