i hate od, but brian is right. get everything in od, it is universal and versitile, tan not so much. it will save you alot of money and headaches, and it looks impressive when you got a complete loadout.

farmboy, why dont you have a search feature on your site!! i looked for about an hour and had a hard time finding multicam items, more so looking for the tag assault pack in multicam, but only lists primary colors... help!

There is after clicking on products there is a search option under the banner.

At this time though, there is no TAG gear to be had in Multicam. It is on the way though, and I should be getting it in stock towards the new year.

Everyone should start out with a solid OD setup, then build from there with good quality pieces picked up when they can be afforded.

OD is pretty much universal... and inexpensive.. and LB kit in OD will go with any camo ( pretty much ) aquired later.
I didn't mean it as to start out with for a first BDU, I meant it as if wanting to upgrade to multicam from something more commonly used such as CADPAT or woodland. A few guys here bought MC because the rest of the team was getting it for a certain large upcoming game, they couldn't afford the real stuff before the game, so they got the repro, used it for a couple games while saving for the good stuff, sold the repro and had the real MC BDUs shortly after. I completely agree about buying OD when it comes to GEAR, because OD gear comes in everything from a cheap $40 vest all the way up to a $600 Eagle plate carrier, something for every budget out there.

And, if the money in hand has to go to either real MC for the season, or repro MC plus a half dozen locaps to replace the single hicap, I'd say go for the repro and mags.

Everyone's situation is different. I bought the repro Gen 3 shirt because it was sold for $40 on here, and it'd tide me over until I could get the real MC shirt. I already had the DZ Recce Smock and Ops pants in MC, so things worked out fine for me. And I didn't waste $40 on the repro shirt, because I wear it to work once in a while. Lol

That is actually the wrong place to bring up around here, there have been a huge amount of complaints about their product and service recently, pretty much erased them from anyone's mind when shopping.

I am slowly working my way up the Multicam chain with the help of Ebay I will slowly be buying CP Multicam and stashing it away so it does not fade.
Now if you are going to get a cheap set of multicam ?I would say go with the deal at Daves Surplus Its somewhat comfy and when you get it wash it with vinager and then rince the living shitout or it. sew on some knee pad pockets and put some kneepads in it and your set. and just slowly upgrade. only thing I cant find on Ebay yet is the Vest.

and the blast belts are going for under $100 on Ebay. So thats what I recomend but not many people go with my ideas.

The gun who runs 1337tactical has some Phantom CIRAS in multicam, it's not on the website, but if you pm him he can hook you up. Since its Phantom its not real multicam, but for $250 with pouches, use the money you save to buy real multicam bdu's and you're set. Or you could cover it in real multicam pouches from Eagle at $50 a pop, whatever rubs your Budhha...

Most, if not all of the blast belts on E-bay are replicas, not Crye ones.

The vests are made to order. so good luck in finding one.

I've found a setup that I'd like to try as an alternative to the crye vest.

Yeah I've been hearing ICE has done bad. I just talked to Hobey the other day and he assured me that shipping was up due to the factory. So I don't know, make decisions for yourself.

It's hard finding the real deal, or replica for that matter in Small/Regular for even any price. That's what's so appealing about ICE, but the shipping time, forget about it. eBay or Tru-Spec (which is really hard to find) seems to be the last option.

I would be bidding crye products like I said if they were in Small/Regular, but everything on ebay right now is such oddball sizes.
