I'm in toronto, and my whole loadout is Arid. CB Wee, Cadpat AR, and CB drops, etc.. But for the city, CB and arid ain't too bad.

And Mr.Hitman, for the love of god.. Paint the WHOLE THING. That PJ seems a bit tooo secret squirrel-poseur ninja.

Darken and *slightly* speckle the tan parts, and paint the rest of the gun OD; there's too much contrast between the black and tan parts.

Well, I'm going to go out soon to buy some paint. BUT, Wilson, how many other playes in Canada have a 2 tone colour rifle/gun of tan? How many players wear Desert BDUS?
I was thinking of repainting the parts flat grey, but I do like the way 2 tone coloured guns are. Yeah 2-tones!

Although, Wilson, that's your opinion. And others too. I appreciate it.

I wouldn't want to paint my receiver because I like to keep that fire selecter paint on there.

I told you that you shouldn't have painted it to begin with..though I agree that the white is too bright.

You could buy some maskol (from a hobby store) and put it on the marking with a paintbrush if you want to keep them. Then you paint your receivers and when the paint is dry you peel off the maskol with your finger... pretty simple solution and it work well

Probe, it's still okay with me! Don't worry, I won't screw up this baby.

SHaKaL ; Thanks for that. I was thinking the same thing, but it's just the lines are really thin, and that it has to be a perfect straight line too. If only they make fire selecter marking decals for these guns.

What about electric tape? Mind you, you'd have to first trace each bullet, then tape it off.

Yeah, it'd be a paint in the ass for both sides too. I'll just not paint my receiver
If I had something other than a TM, I would paint, just not to this one

I think people are confused about the whole "satin" thing.....Satin is the finish, like eggshell, not the colour. Go as flat as you can when painting, not only will it darken the colour slightly its also much better in terms of practical use, no reflection.

Personally i think....thumbs down....but i'm only saying that because i like G36's black....

if you want to keep the fire select markings, get some crayons and fill the markings in with the crayon wax, then when done painting scrape them back out with a pin. honestly i think the two tone look is sexy, moreso with tan rather then OD. hell i just ordered an entire CB/Tan kit and i live in Thorold (close to Niagara falls) but i can see use for it in the fall. Tan is sexeh

CB would probably work in some places... depending on how dirty it gets
