My brother had a couple of WE 3.8's and they held up fine through thousands of rounds and running around in the bush with them many summers. Never had anything break on them. He took good care though.

What about the KWC Desert eagle's. Just saw it on airsplat. Anyone have any input. They are big pistols but have heard good from two who own them.

Thats part of the problem isn't it? Poor tolerance in manufacturing means some will work and others won't. You are up to the mercy of the statistic. Statistical control is where a lot of the manufacturing money is spent and why a TM/WA/KSC guns costs more than others....even if they are plastic...

My WE Hicapa 5.1 has at least 2000 rounds through it, and more every weekend. The only problem I have ever had was a fault of my own and it was fixed easily(Dropped it while runing through a sand pit, gunked up everything).

WE is hit and miss, but when you do get the good ones, man they are sweet.

I totally agree, but I got mine from a user who knew it was good to go, so I guess I was advantaged in that respect.

ok so about 90% of ASC wants to take a shit on WE guns but the average airsofter put there guns through harsh environments.and parts will brake EVEN TM guns,yes WE more than average but not every person plays hard like some do.some play CQB games and there guns wont see many chances to brake something.like me i play CQB games and have been using a WE 5.1 for about two years with many rounds put through it and not even a problem and owning many more since.so saying WE is crap is not right to say for the person who wants to save some cash,play a fun game and not go buck wild and start diving in to ditches to avoid a plastic BB.
