The ability to apply so much more rotational energy to the BB means that as it flies, it will decay to ineffective much later in the flightpath. This is why it has that undulating trajectory.

The Tackleberry mod is not recommended for anything less than 0.28g BBs. My best results came with 0.30g. 0.25g still suffered from drifting at the outsides of it's flightpath that the 0.30g didn't. Again, I would suspect that one should be using heavy BBs with this Shredder arrangement.
I was test firing and chonoing .20's and I my partner in crime and I noticed that some BB's where flying nearly complete vertical along a wall of a old shack about 100 ft in front of the chrono.

Thanks for the tip. I wish their was something between .30 and .36

Have you had any issues with testing hard BB's like Maruzen SGM and BBBmax? I havent had any problems shooting the middle weight BBBMAX but it's impossible to compare it to any other BB because of the massive shift in quality over standard BBs.

never fear Tys, this wont be for A LONG time. as in, when i shred the current hop-up. at the same time, i plan on swapping the mechbox for the G&P reinforced shell that i own, along with the gears, and cylinder head.

exactly. i was merely saying that i wont install the new spacer until i destroy the current rubber

as for the heavy BB point, i guess i will use .3 in my M14 (which i planned to anyway), and .28 in my G36C (despite that it will be shooting at 350fps)

lol you said it. i wouldn't drop the coin to have tys dismantle the M14 JUST for a spacer change. i would do the following:

install spacer
change rubber
change cylinder head
swap gearbox shell for reinforced one
swap gearset
perhaps change anti-reversal latch and tappet plate just cause

however, that wont be until after he works on the kar98k and my G36 > G36C project. needless to say it wont be for a long time. on the plus side, Tys can probably buy many news guns and toys after all that work is done

This is for a M14?

You will probably never need that reinforced gearbox shell.

And you will probalby never need to change your rubber until you hit another 100k or more rounds

I've seen version 7 gearboxes split at the front, just like a v2 gearbox would...
