Great news indeed, the only hick is that they will take 8g CO2 powerlet instead of 12g. So, they might be a bit harder to find but I ll take that anyday

They can be bought online 150$ for 360 8g powerlet from a canadian dealer
http://cgi.ebay.ca/CO2-8-GRAM-SODA-C...c#ht_500wt_715 so its not too bad, I would have prefered propane but a Kar98k with available replacement parts is worth it.

The 8g CO2 cartridges are used for whipped cream and carbonating water. They are more common than you think, but not as common as the 12g. I would rather take a smaller mag with realistic proportions over a huge mag just so it can fit a 12g cartridge.

Yeah I'm leaving my job for school, gotta start selling stuff to afford it
As for the mag, it seems I was wrong. It's just disassembled. It's held with 2 screws. EDIT : eeeh, no screws, but still, I doubt it's top loaded. It's like Tanaka system I read. Bah, it's still better than shells.

I don't know enough about K98s to discern this for myself, so hopefully some of you ww2 fans can help me out. Does the G&G K98 have the mounting bits for a scope? And what type of scope would be correct on a K98? (This last one i could have googled but I was posing a question anyways so I figured why not!)

There is also the ZF39 with x4 magnification; however, it requires extensive modification of the receiver to mount it; I seriously doubt that G&G will be able to produce a mount for it (Out of the 14,643,260 Kar98k produced during WW2 Approximately only 132,000 of these were to become sniper rifles due to the complexity of the tasks which could only done by a skilled armorer) There is also the ZF42 with a magnification of 6X which as similar issues as the ZF39
