I'm sorry, I've been in vancouver during every season....

You guy's can't complain about mosquitoes.

I'll allow you to start complaining when you can kill 15 within an area on you equal to one slap of your hand.

That was happening alot when I was at Defcon.

Also, about the "feeling your hits", keep it light, and you'll be good to go.

That should be rule number 1. Without them following the first rule, they will not be able to follow the rules after if they can't follow the first.

Rule 1 - Listen to what Refs/Hosts have to say before game. If you cannot follow this rule, then you cannot participate as this rule applies to all rules given. So shut up because rules are important.

Rule #1 is you don't talk about fight-club. Noob.

Other people will have some, it's OK.
I disagree. I had one 1000 mAh battery for the first year, and that's all I'd use. I went two full day milsims between charges sometimes.

If you have a good gun and aren't of the type to think that FPS is everything, a small battery would be fine.

Also, not sure if this was said or not: make sure you check your fire. You don't want to be lighting guys up in the face at closer range when you could have just controlled your muzzle and given them 2-3 to the thigh/shoulder/chest. They'll feel it there, but you won't be risking a tooth injury to the other person.

That being said, if you do make a mistake, apologize when you can but don't beat yourself up about it, everybody makes a mistake once in a while, just don't make them a habit and you'll be fine.

A long time ago, a very long time ago I played an entire days milsim with a stock TM M4 and a 600mAH NiCD battery. Shot over 15 mags that day, and 15 x 68 rounds is already over 1000. It was also a warm day. I think I still have that battery around somewhere, I should frame it.

If you do get bitten by mosquitoes theres actually a neat trick to get the itchiness out.

Go to your local pool or whatever and sit in the steam room for a good 15 minutes. The reason being is that when a mosquito bites you, it will leave some of its saliva in the bite area. This saliva acts as an irritant and that's why you feel itchy. So if you sit in the steam room and sweat it all out it shouldn't be as bad.

^^^ That's the way it was explained to me but the steam room thing does work.

Tell that to the 3 or 4 people (or more I can't remember) at our bootcamp that had small capacity batteries that died.
