Well, since I keep buggin' Stalker, and he keeps giving me ideas. I've gotten a little further on it this late evenin'. Yeah, Graham's gonna be pissed.



Basic idea in mind for end "pattern" not complete but just where I'm going with it all.

Stalker did, he told me the only problem he had with it was trying to move around a lot got to be a pain with it. The poncho style just gets caught on everything cause its not as well secured as the typical Ghillie.


Also said that if it was for the casual use it'd be fine and good. You could drape yourself with it, do your hiding, and when shit hit the fan you could throw it off and move lightening fast! Or rather thats what I gathered from him.

Pretty much. Also was a bastad to use around my guns, they'd get hung up on the netting and crap. Then I Shoe Goo'd cheap woodland fabric to the inside, worked better but still the netting would catch on every single branch, so I said to hell with it, glued it to BDUs and went from there. Unless you are using it in the desert or grassy areas, it's a freaking pain in the arse to use. But, it does roll up nicely.

Heh, was just playing around and strapped some to the scope of my APS that I am starting to work on a ghillie for ((gotta use up the scraps)).




The funny thing is, if you zoom in on the lens, the way the light reflected off of it, it kinda makes a lil baby alien image or something.


EDIT: heh heh, Just noticed that you can seen a bit of a shot from "Poolhall Junkies", good movie, but thats off topic. Stalker, no comments about old bald men on my screen . . .

No Stalker, I've gotten to many hate mail, that if I show my feet anymore, they'll kill a fuzzy bunny.


I know about the mud and all that, I'm hoping its nice and warm this weekend. That way I get to go out and roll it around in the dirt some... hang it out to dry in the sun...

Okay, so the smoked Bolle's really ruined it... but anyway






Well, the ghillie on the rifle was a success, but I have to mend/repair/change a few things to the jacket and the hat. The hat the netting is sewn too tight
so the front flips up like that. Also have to fix the collar so that the shoulders sit a bit higher. But it was fun to get a chance to try it out in game.

Buy a mosquito headnet.

I put some on my Bolle's, cut it to size then punctured each end on the little nipples that stick out. Cuts back on the glare and smooth look of your goggles.

I wish they would have gotten a pic of me earlier in the day, I put camo paint everywhere. My ears were still green the next morning :P. even did the back of my ears, and I did EVERYWHERE green first so I looked like the HULK! It was fun(ny).
