What happened to that little drop-down list thing near the bottom right of the pages? That was always very handy when reading a thread or a section, and was easier to navigate than scrolling all the way back up again and going to the subsections. Anyway we can get that back?

One thing that is certainly annoying to me, is that the "online" user list is not alphabetical any more. Makes it really hard to quick search if a particular person is online or not.

I'm not sure if that's the same thing that I'm after. But I want the little " Airsoft Canada > General > General > The Big Feedback Thread" down the bottom as well as the top so I don't have to scroll all the way up to go to the parent folder. And no I don't want to use Backspace to go back, then the forum doesn't register that I've visited the thread I was just in.

I'm still having connection issues, but meh. Funny enough, the Blackberry runs the site fine whereas a desktop will sometimes struggle to load even the front page.

same issue here. there are sometime hours where i cannot connect to asc when im bored at night... lol i might just need more of a life

Is it possible to make database calls from outside of ASC's domain?

Basicly, can I fetch data from the AV database to protect a store, get user info remotely (post count, join date, online/offline, etc) or is this disabled?

We did this with ASCA... if you've got a good reason to use the info, I can probably whip you up an API.

I've spent a couple minutes poking around the forums now that their back up, and I've noticed just how fast everything seems to load now. So far, I like these changes.

They're features that would be useful to everybody. It's just a matter of figuring out how to implement them. Rest assured, it's on the to-do list.
