Only thing i need to know is how long the battery lasts, and how easy is it to crack open the mechbox for some tweaking...

Also there is a nice review up on Arnies, with lots of pics and info:

I must admit the MP7 is growing on me... never really liked machine pistol type guns, but this one looks more "tactical" than the TMP or UZI.

A guy over at Arnies has stripped down his MP7, WOW... the mechbox is tiny looking. Here is the link:

why wouldn't you just get the gbb version of the TMP?
Well, that'd be my extreme and likely invalid distrust of gas guns in general. Call me a coward, but I'm a little leary of holding onto a gun full of expansive gas. More reasonably, I know next to nothing about their care, implementation, or maintenance.
Besides, it's cold out.

Addicted?? ;-)

Yeah I guess you could say that. And thats not even counting the $1000 or so in gear and accessories already purchased this year too. It's quite sad seeing a paycheck suddenly disappear after a day or so.

A bit of a necropost, but this is related to the topic and isn't, in my opinion, worth making a new thread.
Anyways, seems that STAR is making MP7 mags, now- 20 rounders, 50 rounders, and Hi-Cap 100 rounders.

Amusing Engrish, to say the least.

A day late - it already got it's own thread yesterday, but it's good to be in here too.

Ledpocket from arnies has a thread with all kinds of home-made mods
http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...opic=6921&st=0

unpainted as of yet, but it looks like he got more battery out of it.

pics from the thread mentioned earlier

Im blown away by the size of the inner barrel. Heck, its much larger then the MP5K inner barrel.
Maby illusion can touch on the topic of barrel suck on that large inner barrel to that tiny cylinder and the possible effects of a silencer/entended tightbore(someone will do it).

As was foretold by none other than myself on Arnie. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to foretell next week's Super 7 numbers...

All of the TM MP5s except the MP5 K A4 and the MP5 PDW have longer barrels stock.

As for the barrel suck? I guess I'll find out I have a new 282mm MP7 barrel on its way plus a host of other upgrades.

As for the battery there is a much easier solution then that abortion of a silencer. You just pop the top rail off and wire in a plug, have it come out of the "vents" at the front of the gun. the hook that wire in to battery sling, deal done.
