Does anyone make a thread extender? Re: Velocity Reducer inside Silencer Thoughts

Does anyone make a thread extender? By that I mean something that will have 14mm CC threads about 2-3 times longer than the usual tapping on the end of a barrel?

Basically I was thinking about mounting a velocity reducer inside of a silencer. Most silencers allow you to take off the end cap where the threads are. If you could screw the end cap on first, then still have about 1cm of threads still left above the end cap, you could screw on a velocity reducer and then put the suppressor can on top of it all.

And because I am at work (and terribly bored), all I have to work with is MS Paint so bear with me for my awesome MS Paint diagram to demonstrate what I'm talking about.

You would have to tap the inside of the outer barrel and then screw a piece into it like that. Thats how I would do it. Or could use a silencer adapter, and then only screw it on partway but keep it stable with loctite.

The problem is finding a silencer adapter or thread extender long enough - or even an outer barrel extension that had that...or somebody who owns the tap to make it. I was curious if anybody had come across anything similar that is commercially available or think they could fab it easily.

This is just a shot in the dark but maybe you can find what you're looking for in a store/on a site like this. If they don't have it commercially, I'm sure stores like these get some requests for custom thread adaptors.

Are there any quick detach silencers with a big enough opening to allow a velocity reducer inside and then clamp down?
