A lot of people say that the systema red piston shatters easily.
shock transfer system, I would assume some of the shock produced by the spring is transfered through that and into the reciever. It also looks like the two gold tabs are springs, so some of the shock will be absorbed by that as well. I'm not really sure either since it's a realitively new product, and I do not personally know anyone who uses one, but that youtube video is pretty convincing lawl; in theory it should work pretty good as well. Your choice really. ARS sorbo stuff have been prooven to work, I have a set in my gun. The bushings and piston will only cost you like 30 bucks, depending on which ones you get (don't cheap out on bushings), and it will last a long time. If you get a completely new mechbox right now, you end up with a working mechbox in good order as a spare. Also it seems like some people say that the pinion gear on the systema motors have problems now and then, but I really have no idea, and I could very easily be wrong. You will have to consult others or research yourself.

If the Systema motors have problems, why are they considered to be good? O_o
Btw, does anyone else know anything about what problems the motors have? |

Keep in mind those prices are in USD as well! Don't know if you're in Canada or elsewhere because you haven't filled out your profile.

Poison, does it work fine right now? If so, why do you want to change it? Buying parts just for the sake of buying parts is dumb.[/QUOTE]-Styrak
Why don't you try reading the Entire post before posting your (@#$#@)opinion. He lives in Isreal, he isn't buying parts just to buy parts. So who is dumb? |

he has already stated in a previous post that he is not in canada, but the prices for airsoft are similar.
The systema motor itself is suppose to be excellent. Pinion gear? Well I don't know about that. |

It doesn't matter where you live. Tell me, what is he doing then? He says his gun works fine and he's going to be "upgrading in a few months because it will probably need it". I'm betting it won't need it.

No need to fight, guys.
I'm not buying parts right now. I'm asking about the parts I'd need to get in the near future. Quote:
Anyway, thank you all for your help! |

Now now.... TM uses cheapo metal as well =p
it just depends on the power output of your spring, and the fit and finish of parts, both in production and assembly. ACM parts have inconsistant metal, as in the distribution of iron or carbon is not even, they also have imperfect finish, such as weird gear tooth finish, or incorrect dimensions of something, and they are assembled improperly =p that's why if you just re-shim your mechbox (and use metal bushings+metal spring guide at 400 fps...) you can make it last much much longer. |
