AEG over hoping.... good idea to cut the bucking?
So ya, just got my G&G UMG, and I noticed that the bb's were over hopping alot, even on the lowest hopup setting, so I swaped a systema rubber I had, it reduced the overhopping, but still the bbs do overhop a little....
so I was wondering if cutting the Bucking would fix it? thx |

0.20g, I know its not the best, but for now I'll be using those..... planning on buying .23 or .25 soon,
I know about the weight of the bbs and hopup thinngy, but I just wanted to know if cutting the bucking was a good idea.... |

You said it was a brand new gun, I've found that out of the box you have to give the barrel a good cleaning, pistols , rifles all of them were dirty and greasy. I've also found that alittle "break-in" time will wear the hop up naturally, rather than possibly cutting and damaging the hop up

yeah, i beleive you're right,
but I changed the rubber for the systema one, and will break it in with it, instead of the original one from G&G.... the original one was just doing too much overhoping.... |

Totally right on here, same thing happened to couple buddies you spent alot and were pissed off. I told them just come ot and burn a few clips and things were fine.

Don't cut the sleeve, it's unlikely that you'll be able to do a neat enough cut on rubber.
Instead, try: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=720 Use the one with the widest space between the "H".
