Advice on plate carrier.
Hey everyone,
So the wife has given me the go ahead to buy a new plate carrier :-o Needs to be high quality, strong build. Has to be able to fit front/side/back armour plates. Coyote brown/tan or OD. Molle Style. Thanks

Is the Rampage more streamlined? *Edit*: just saw the price tag... yikes!" And there isn't many models of carrier with side Eagle CMS PC Paraclete Hard plate w/ cumberbund (pricy as hell...) Diamondback FAPC w/ cumberbund London Bridge Trading 6094 (pricy as hell...) And to my knowledge there's NO Canadian distributor for the last three brands. By the way I can vouch for OST, great service!

I've got a couple of Eagle plate carriers with cumberbunds, and I'm very happy with them. One is in Multicam (for mid/late fall - early mid spring), the other is OD (Mid/late spring - early/mid fall). I've got them decked out with a combination of Tactical Tailor and Eagle pouches and are identical other then the OD one has an Eagle MAP Pack and the MC one has a TT hydration pouch. They are quite comfortable to wear once you get use to the confining feel they give, especially once you put (fake) plates in. To help with the load distribution, I've installed Eagale CIRAS shoulder pads and lined them with that blue foam sleeping bag pad from Maomart. Keeps them quite comfy.

Been more than happy with my VooDoo carrier. Ever since I kitted it out with pouches, I've been using it.
