Comments on UTG vests : anybody tried them?
I saw this cross draw vest and I like it alot (left-handed woohoo!) :
http://www.shortyusa.com/airsoft.htm...12.58&CA=&RID= Anybody ever experimented the quality of the material of a UTG vest? I know it's not blackhawk/pantac but how is it compared to the stuff sold at ehobbyasia for example?

UTG gear = garbage.
Blackhawk makes a decent vest in that style. |

Thanks for the input. Was afraid you'd say that
Yeah Blackhawk does make a similar vest but 200US$ is a bit step for something I use once every month at best. And left-handed vests are rare!

UTG isn't garbage if you take it for what it is - cheaper, entry level gear. The only UTG vest that I use on any sort of frequency is a black MOLLE vest for a CQB loadout. I don't like how UTG puts black buckles and zippers on Tan or ACU gear, but black on black is...well ok.
If you do any sort of serious milsim, then UTG isn't going to be for you. |

Check out the VooDoo Tactical line of gear we carry. As good as Blackhawk but much, much better pricing.

UTG vests are good for someone in a hurry or on a budget. Seam construction was good on mine and I used it ofr a year before i bought a good vest.
