As already said, DO NOT GO CHEAP FOR LIPO Duratrax ICE. http://www.duratrax.com/caraccys/dtxp4170.html NiCad - NiMh - Lipo Can cycle, got setting memories, multiple charge methods, etc. It requires an external PSU though. Any old 350w computer PSU will do. I still love this baby. |

Don't cheap out on a charger.
Mine was $80, and it's excellent and has never done anything bad to my batteries. |

No.
A cheap charger will kill your batteries. Airsoft isn't a cheap hobby. And n00bs wonder why we say you need more $$$ than just fronting for the gun. There is a lot of other equipment required.

This is the one I'm using ATM: http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html . I use it for Ni-mh and it works great; it has a lot of options like auto cutoff, heat sensor, log recorder, discharge/recharge cycling, and a bunch of other features.
It is highly rated from the RC community. As I said, I only use it for nimh batteries, charges a 4000mAh battery which I got from Styrak in just over an hour. But according to youtube(don't know how accurate the information is) and various forums, it should work well with LiPo batteries - I can't say for sure though... The only problem is that it only uses T connectors so you'll need an adapter if you use batteries with tamiya. Last edited by lawldragon; October 2nd, 2009 at 00:55.. Reason: Grammar |

Would that be able to charge a 10.8v? And are those "T" connectors Deans?

Says it charges 1-15 cells for NiCAD/NiMH, so yes.

I paid 150 $ alone for just Lipo charger and another 50 $ for regular battery and when I want to get rip of an AEG, I told buyer that both of those charger are include and the price will increase like 200 $ plus I give out like 6 Lipo battery and 2 Large battery in package as well. He refuse to take the package and said that I'm screw him up. I stop right there and decide to keep both of those charger. It's really worst to have a good charger and battery. You will never died in middle of war game.
