False logic.

EBBR with notable recoil has only been attempted recently, first by TM, then a couple others. Previous attempts by G&G didn't count, simply because they were mainly focused on simulating bolt cycle.

Throw in the fact that TM SOPMOD/SOCOM requires new magazine (well worth it for dry fire stop) and battery, and backwards parts compatibility is poor, the current champ of EBBR is on par with a high end AEG (it is a high end AEG).

But this is all mute for Canada. Given our situation, we'll always be somewhat behind the rest of the airsoft world no matter which what feature catches on.

the fact that ebb has failed to deliver a realistic experience is what has fueled different companies to pursue the gbbr market, because airsofters see it as a truer more realistic experience, myself included, and I will probably get one of those once they become more affordable and fieldable.
While it's true that EBBRs probably can't ever have has much recoil as GBBRs, it's just the same that GBBRs will probably never match EBBRs in terms of reliability and fps stability across temperature ranges.

Though, the better GBBRs are perfectly fieldable now and are fielded in both skirms and milsims (maybe not so much in Canada), provided the shooter doesn't treat it like an AEG and temperature isn't jumping between freezing and super hot.

I was referring to EBB pistols. Their performance sucks at best. The 'blowback action' is lame and useless. On AEGs, it's just an extra little gimmick. Below the surface, you still have a functional AEG that can perform.

EBB pistol shown and the ones they've made before is for kids 10 and up....not marketed to us....AEP like the Glock 18, and the USP and what not is supposed to be more for regualr airsofter who doesn't want gas pistols...

Absolute ONLY blowback aegs worth getting are the ones with some form of recoil generators. (kinda looks like the G36 has one, god I hope it does....)

The G36 blowback looks like the bolt and charging handle still only move back part way like on regular AEGs. Might as well do that blowback mod that guy did on his regular G36.
