Converting a ksc g17 to fire full auto

Does anyone know how to do this? Or if it's possible to put a g17 slide on a g18 frame and it will fire only full auto?

If you want to do the 17->18 swap you need to use an 18 slide with internals and the 18's hammer assembly as well. you can mod the trigger bar and a few other parts on the 17 to make it shoot full auto but it is non reversible and not very functional or reliable.

Do I really need the 18 slide internals? Isn't the internals in the slide just for selecting fire?

Basically you need a G18 to do this as said above. I had a busted G19 that would spew gas everywhere, turns out a previous owner had tried to make the gun full auto, filed down the latch that the slide hits to make the sear grab the hammer, I replaced it and the gun worked fine after. So nutshell, no you can't.

But the gun would basically be a g18 since it has g18 hammer internals just with a g17 slide so it only fires full auto. I'm not converting it. I'm just buying a g18, then I'm buying a g17 slide and using my g19 bbu to go on the g17 slide.

That will not work, You need the 18 internals or it will not work properly. There is more than just the selector switch in the 18 slide you need all the parts for proper function. This also makes no sense your buying an 18 bam you have a full auto glock done. why start mix n' match of parts after that?

Ditto. 1/3 of the parts that make the G18 be able to fire full auto are in the blow back assembly. If buying a G18 to get the parts out of, why not just use the G18 as it is and save the trouble?

I hate the ports in the slide of the g18c, there aren't any aftermarket slides that don't have white trademarks where as the ksc g17 has pgc and sd slides, and I'm trying to make the joker glock lol that's why I don't want the g18c as it is.

in that case just use a Glock17, that is what he used anyways. of course yours will not have full auto but a semi only airsoft glock will last longer and shoot better.

for the movie they used a Glock17 with a full auto selector switch product similar to these.

That's what I was leaning towards. I need to polish it though, will the stock metal slide be the best? And I thought the gun was just converted to fire only full auto not semi, that's what it says on imfdb...

same, same but different. they did use an internal mod but it has the same end result. all I am saying as far as looks go you can replicate it very well without the full auto as it is not very safe or reliable to mod an airsoft glock17 to fire fullauto.
I had one of my glocks go full auto due to key internal parts wearing out from use (this could be done with a file to get full auto) but the safety part kicks in here it would keep firing after trigger release and a good bump on the wall while in holster made it fire.

For the slide I would buy one in the colour you want it will look better. If you get the KWA and use it's stock slide it can look good but you will need to clear coat it so it does not tarnish.

Well I wanted to get a shooters design slide but they all have ports in them. I don't know if I should stick with the stock slide or get a pgc slide, but the paint on there will probably be hard to get off and I have to get the paint off in between the serrations also.
