Guns Misfeeding

I have a sig 552 with a JG v3 mechbox. The gun works fine on semi but when I switch to full I noticed that the air nozzle is not going back to the open position. I checked my gears, piston and motor and they are all fine. The only thing thats changed as far as I know is that a metal tab on the switch broke off so I simply patched that up.

*edit* Okay well maybe I'm not representing the problem correctly so I'll explain everything. When I switch to Auto maybe 4 out of every 6 shots fires. When it does fire with issues 1-3 bbs coming shooting/rolling out and I hear my gears make a stripping noise. There is evidence of this when I open up my gearbox. its very very minor but its there. I've reshimmed my gears, adjusted the motor level etc with no help. Now when I BELIEVE is happening is that some bbs are getting jammed between the feeding system and the metal air nozzle. Which would explain why some bbs are rolling out of the barrel.

So far I've been told it could be the Tappet plate but I rather not order anything until I'm sure.

The gun is running a 330 fps spring with .20s, 8.4 mini and a system magnum motor. Both the battery and the motor have been swapped out with no issue resolve.

Any ideas?

**Swapped out hop-up rubber and bucking still the same issue

Its not the mag. Its been swapped out already. The air nozzle doesn't return to the back position sometimes. It stays either centered or in the full forward positions but it does move back and forth its just not returning to the back position after the trigger is released.

That's normal. In semi...power is cut off to the motor at about the same point with each shot. In full auto...it's as random as when you decide to let go of the trigger.

Does it shoot in semi...if so that's good.

Does it shoot in full auto...if so that's good.

If it does both of those things...don't sweat it. If it doesn't, then there is a problem.

Agreed. Am baffled that so many new people think there is something wrong with this. Hehe, as long as it shoots well, the gun is fine.

This is why folks tell you to fire off a single shot in semi after running full auto. It lets everything settle back to normal and takes any tension off the spring.

This is normal function, as long as it's firing, as Stalker and Tys mentioned

BB bastards

One quick question. I found a new sig 552 hop-up system and I'm wondering what the spring and (what looks like) a metal ring. Just wondering what those two parts are used for as my hop-up system doesn't have them.

I lowered the RPM of my gun and its firing just fine now. So its either the tappet bending or the mags faulty. Thanks for the help though to all who replied.

Issue resolved
